as a person who grew up in an angry home and was a very angry person who lashed out violently far too often I am happy to hear pastor John speak on this even though Lord has helped me greatly in being able to deal with it, I have learned restraint and patience that I would never thought possible and I know that is from the Lord and not from me because I am still angry most of the time but now I know how to express it in a much more healthy manner and if God can do that with me turning a violent angry brute like me into a kind, patient, and nurturing person then he truly can do anything and that includes helping anyone with anything they struggle with thank you Lord for delivering us not just from death but from a life enslaved to negative emotions like anger may your name be praised Lord the holy one of Israel

    Note to self:
Set aside a designated time and place to express your disappointments. The rest of the day keep calm and carry on.

When I'm disappointed I find that I am in my most selfish mode and have not humbled myself to repent of the self-serving wanting everything my way all the time as a mother when the anger cropped up was because things weren't going my way and it felt that I need to do with jesus's way his way his love his forgiveness his gratitude his word

Christianity began as sun worship, the stories about Jesus are symbolic.
He is just a personification of the sun, made into a god figure later on.
The sun "dies" for 3 days on December 22nd, the winter solstice, when it stops its movement south, to be born again or resurrected on December 25th, when it resumes its movement north.
In some areas, the calendar originally began in the constellation of Virgo, and the sun would therefore be "born of a Virgin"
The sun rising in the morning is "the saviour of mankind"
The sun is "The light of the World"
The sun "walks on water" is just the reflection of the sun on water/the sea.
"He cometh on clouds, and every eye shall see him", is just sun rays.
Jesus' "crown of thorns" is just the sun's glare, also know as a halo.
The sun's "followers", "helpers" or "disciples" are the 12 months and the 12 signs of the zodiac or constellations, through which the sun must pass.
The sun at 12 noon is in the house or temple of the "Most High": thus.."he" begins "his Father's work" at "age" 12.
The sun enters into each sign of the zodiac at 30 degrees, hense, the "Sun of God" begins his ministry at "age" 30.
The sun is hung on a cross or "crucified", which represents its passing through the equinoxes.
The vernal equinox being Easter, at which time it is then resurrected.
The reason why saviour myths are so similar with a godman who is crucified and resurrected, who does miracles and has 12 disciples, is that these stories were based on the movements of the sun through the heavens, an astrotheological development that can be found throughout the planet, because the sun and the 12 zodiac signs can be observed around the globe.
In other words, Jesus Christ and all the others upon whom this character is predicated are personifications of the sun, and the Gospel fable is merely a rehash of a mythological formula revolving around the movements of the sun through the heavens.
Jesus is a fictional allegory for the sun. Christianity is ancient astrology. It's just fables about the sun.

@Gamefan86 people say weird things about God in the bible being the human brain and spinal cord as well but there's no evidence that was the authors intent, same goes for the sun theory. There is evidence for the life and existence of Christ though, so I'll stick with what's proven true.

I too struggle in this way. In practical terms, the only hope for us is growing in our understanding of the gospel and as a result - watching the gospel captivate our hearts with Christ. From this flows a growing appreciation for the person and work of Christ which is our purest motivator for change. The Holy Spirit works through the Word of Christ to change us progressively into the image of Christ, thus restoring the image of God in man. Are you discouraged and feeling hopeless to change apart from Christ? Yeah, me too. Let's flee to Christ, our only hope... See you at the cross, my friend.

MAINSTREAM Christianity encourages anger against people who are beneath you. Pastors and fathers are encouraged to ignore the most basic ethic, the golden rule, by speaking harshly to people who are not allowed to speak or be angry back. They cannot withstand any measure of disrespect, and this is seen as no problem in the church or family. Trust me. I work in one.

There is no sexual intercourse in heaven because men and women will not marry or remain married to each other there (Matthew 22:30). Because we do not marry there, it also means we do not have sexual desires there.
There is no childbearing or the desire for it in heaven because God will give everyone a name and place better than sons and daughters (Isaiah 56:4-5).
Marriage, which is sexual intercourse, is a form of this world that will pass away (1 Corinthians 7:27-31).
Earthly marriage is a representation of our union with Jesus in heaven and this will be infinitely better (Ephesians 5:31-33).
Hell is forever and your body will be concious and burned with fire and infested with worms for eternity, and there is no sexual intercourse or childbearing there as well (Mark 9:48).

To blame anger inside the home on unclean spirits is to blame shift and absolve our selves from any responsibility. We are the ones who are sinning , we are the ones who let unwholesome words come out of our mouth. As a regenerated, forgiven, blood washed adopted child of God, neither Satan nor his demons can make us do anything. We sin because our flesh still loves to sin, and despite the loving kindness of our Father, we still would rather please our flesh. That’s the reason we have anger in the home.

@@Gamefan86 So I suppose we just ignore the eye witness reports of what Jesus did, and who He proved He was, and just believe you????
If what you say is true I have nothing to worry about, but if what the Word of God says about God, His nature, His holiness and His sovereignty, I'll be very very afraid to face Him on that great day of judgement.
Think about the things you believe in, it's end is nothing, because it is nothing.
      Romans 1: 18 - 32 explains you perfectly.

    "Overcoming Anger in the Home"
Kind Sir...to "overcome Anger in the home"; and be joyful, happy and peaceful...is ONLY: if we follow (no body has, sadly) what Jesus (who IS God Almighty) and Paul (The greatest messenger) said...
FIRST as Jesus' said: Genesis 3:16 Unto the woman he said, I will greatly multiply thy sorrow and thy conception; in sorrow thou shalt bring forth children; and thy desire shall be to thy husband, and he shall rule over thee.
Matthew 22:37 Jesus said unto him, Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind. Matthew 22:38 This is the first and great commandment. Matthew 22:39 And the second is like unto it, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself. Matthew 22:40 On these two commandments hang all the law and the prophets.
Second as Paul's said: 1 Corinthians 14:34 Let your women keep silence in the churches: for it is not permitted unto them to speak; but they are commanded to be under obedience as also saith the law. Ephesians 5:23 For the husband is the head of the wife, even as Christ is the head of the church: and he is the saviour of the body.
Finally; we must follow all of those commandments to the "nth" degree; in order to not have "anger" in the home. Again, NO one has EVER done that. So, ever since Adam and Eve to the End of of the World; "anger" is every where. And it will not really stop; until Judgment Day. And the cause of all angers; leading to fighting and then killing for 6,000 yrs! Sad, but OH so True!
End of Story and I rest me case...
...In any case kind Sir, Please Pray OFTEN and Praise Jesus OFTEN; for He is the ONLY true "God Almighty"; there will ever have been. And may Jesus bless you and yours always. AMEN!
