@janikzvaleny i installed 4 max is 5. Low speed compression had great support, so that's good now. I haven't got up to speed yet. Had to order a down top clap as it didn't come with one from fox at it was $200 ouch. Plus a new rotor. So this weekend race should be great for some dialing in...
Hell yeah, just did the same thing but went the Rockshox Ultimate route with the black DHR's on the GT Fury (RIP). We'll see how racing a frame from a company that isn't producing frames goes ha
@MidWestMTB I just checked a day or so ago and all GT bikes sold out. They had those things cheap. Just hope u can get parts and a warranty in the future if needed...
Note for the UA-camr, for the futur: never shoot a screen/tv. A bit annoying for your viewers. 👍 Nice bike! The foam on your bike at the beginning is very satisfying to watch. Nice shot.
Hi Mezonator, i've watched you video and please check again how your fork is installed with FOX's recommendations. If you go full travel on your fork youre tire may hit the lower crown because it sits to low and you will crash badly. Either youll mount the crowns of your bomber 58 again or you'll need the upper drop crown for your Fox 40. Greets
@MoTurnPi yup, I had to buy a dropper upper crown from Fox. Those jerks charged me $200 for it even after buying a brand new fork w/o. They said only the 29er fork comes with both crowns. Installing today. Thanks, man, for looking out.
@@Mezonator656 you have measure from the top of the fork tube to the upper edge of the lower crown. Should be at least 137mm. Best you'll look it up on the fox website

Shows measuring from top of stanchion to top.of fork. 🤔 that will be the same measurement no matter where I set my top crown... okay, I re read your post. I will do that. Maybe the diagram on the manual is off cause I believe that the same measurement u posted is 137 mm or so...Thanks!!!
@mtb187 it is nice looking. It's solid. Very stable at all speeds, no flex, and gives you confidence over steep, rocky, and big jumps. One complaint is the size as i am 6'2 and large is too small and xl is too big. Also doesn't pedal very well. Not like a giant glory with maestro suspension, but then again maestro doesn't perform in rough stuff like this one does, so always trade off.
I am just trying to dialing shocks now. I think this bike has alot of leverage on shock and maybe blowing though a little to easy. Hopefully the air with being more progressive will help with that...
@trentonmay182 I was supposed to be a freerider, not in went full race mode. I better PR with this shit or else I wasted a lot of money for all show and no go 😅
@@itsloopp4408 dope. Mine is for sale. I may have just needed some volume spacers. As the slow compression was dangerously soft. But butter on rough and Flow. One setting and good for all. The fork was laterally stiff and gave u all the confidence. I really thought its a excellent fork, just need some more support on slow speed compression i do weigh 230 tho. I update to change rake/offset 51 vs 48mm and to match my new shock. Also its not boost so make sure u know this as I didnt. I also just remove internals anyways with avalanche_suspension so there is always that.

Do you know how much stanchion should be between top of fork and bottom crown? I will put on today, but dont know the measurements.

i think it is one of the best looking bikes🔥🔥🔥. How does it rides?
