If anyone is using a Blender version not listed, you can render with your version by clicking on 'show code' in second cell and changing the URL to your specific blender version found here:- download.blender.org/release ( It will look something like this:- download.blender.org/release/Blender3.1/blender-3.1.2-linux-x64.tar.xz )
thanks for this, it's super useful! also i genuinely thought google colab would be faster, but sadly i would need to pay for pro or pro+ for a faster gpu :(
through the google method my character is not animated for some reason it just t-poses idk why when i render it using blender on my own it seems to be fine although taking a lot more time
Change the URL in cell 3 to:- download.blender.org/release/Blender3.1/blender-3.1.2-linux-x64.tar.xz also change all the places (in cell 3 and 4) with version number to 3.1.2

@@AlbertoLeo_ Even if the notebook is resetted the rendered frames are saved in the google drive and you can run the notebook again from the frame you stopped.

hi, in google collab method, when the render is finished the resulting file does not appear
Does it give any error messages? If not it should appear in the output location you gave

@Pirateclaw Animations sorry, why is any png file not appearing or rendered on my side?
can i close drive after doing the final step, can i just leave it downloading and closing the tab??
nope
man i cant see the link in the third command i followed many vids it asks for the access but i cant get authorization key
Download the colab notebook from the link in the description. Run the third cell and the link will appear automatically.
Is the second solution legal?
