I'm loving all the confusion, you should look up bricky and leutan's videos. they explain lore very well. But basically long story short Titus got stripped of his rank, cause one of his squad members accused him of corruption. (corruption to the soul, when you stop believing in the emperor, and start falling to chaos.) This because Titus touched a object that was apparently a super powerful Chaos artilect. Obviously touching something like this leaves it's scars... So his underling thought he was acting weird and snitched. I don't know how much you know of the 40k lore, so not sure how much to explain.... I've read over 20 books from the 40k universe, and i've barely scratched the surface. But simple quick overview. Every faction in 40k is bad, there are no good guys. The emperor created 20 genetically adapted copies of himself (Primarchs) , we only talk about 18 of them. (2 if them are left blank for table top players, so they can create their own homebew factions to play with... why 2? Because if you play against eachother then both can use their own homebrew faction) They all have their own legion. The genes of the Primarch is used to alter the genes of the person who will be made spacemarine. Of the 18 legions, half of them turned to chaos and betrayed the Emperor. The first son, Horus, ended up mortally wounding the emperor. (This is Horus Heresy about 57 books of lore). What is chaos you ask..... Fuck complex... but imagine normal space-time..... "material reality" well there's a place called "the imaterium" or "warp"... It's a reality that's not material, all emotion feelings and souls basically... Allot of bad shit happened, allot of negative emotions... they clumped together and formed 4 "chaos gods". (not real literal gods... but powerful enough to basically be gods). Khorn (war, anger etc), Szeentch (change, scheming, manipulation), Slanesh (sex, drugs and rock and roll.... But in excess to the point where it's just bad...), and Nurgle (pestilance, decay rot.... don't forget papa Nurgle loves you!). this is just a quick basics. Anyway liked your vid man, keep up the good work!
@@Sally453 Ohh btw! Cadians (the imperial guards that are accompanying you in this game) are some of the favorite regular human legions. There aren't many of them, but they are quite famous. Their planet was next to a tear in space-time (called eye of terror), and creatures from the warp were bleeding out into the material reality. (imagine a giant hole in space and hellish lovecraftian monsters pouring out. All on to this planet) The planet was literally ripped to shreds. But the Cadians fought to the last moment, allowing for many civilians to flee the planet. There's a sentence said by someone don't remember who but the sentence stuck with me. "Their planet broke before they did." You can recognize Cadians by their purple eyes. Also you asked in the vid how old Titus is... You said at least 200 years old....The 4 gold dots on his head (service studs) indicate how long he's been serving the Emperor. Silver stud = 50 years, Gold stud = 100 years. 4 gold studs, he's at least 400, but not yet 450.
