I love how Fury is like “welp, my job is done here” while humanity is in an even worse spot going out of their way to kill Skrulls or anyone suspected of being one.
At least we're getting New World order and a whole new President, Harrison Ford as Thunderbolt Ross and soon to be RED HULK. President Ritson was a nutjob in the first place for not listening to his suspicion about Rhodie.

I agree but I feel like there are way bigger issues with the show. Kree peace would def be a high priority and they needed to set up Marvels and other stuff I guess

@@janitorhoseph9449 people would start the Skrull lives matter movement while they start infiltrating our government and we had no heroes to actually help us, just nukes which probably won’t work since the Skrull are more tolerant to radiation.

Imagine for a second that you're tasked with making a spy thriller for Marvel. And imagine that it will star Nick Fury, so you already have a strategic genius in the script. And imagine also that the villains of this spy thriller are shape-shifting aliens, the hands-down easiest thing you can do to generate surprise twists in a spy thriller (so easy that literally every MI movie has relied on their impossible perfect face masks like a crutch). And now also ALSO imagine that this show will be named after an already well-received comic run that's basically done all the heavy lifting for you about twice, maybe even 3x over if you count the first Ultimates run. And NOW...imagine you fail to use ANY OF THAT effectively. That's Secret Invasion.

Man so sounds like it only happened at the very end. But the possibility of a dystopian chaos where everybody thinks everybody else is a skrol would have been the coolest plot for the whole show. Just a rated R, execute order 66 scene of just everybody dying would've been dark

Or flat out they are trapped in Marvel TV hell because Feige is not fond of the TV series before D+, and picks and choose which one suits HIM.

Keeping up with all the Marvel content has become tedious for me. I watched the first episode of Secret Invasion to get a general feel of the show and then came here to find out what happened in the rest of the season. Saved me several hours.
Pretty much hit the nail on the head.
Can't wait for them to explain that the most powerful being in the MCU - the new Super Skrull G'iah - died off screen because it turns out the Super Skrullinator gives Skrulls alien aids or something.
