Thanks for the video. I couldn't turn this feature off and it was driving me, and my wife, and my dogs nuts. I was trying to turn Text to Speech off on my television. This video made me realize that it could be my Roku that was the issue. So I followed the steps and son of a gun, no more creepy woman's voice reading every video title on youtube. Thank you.
I was watching Monday Night Football and all of a sudden her voice appeared and it was so annoying I thought my TV got hacked I went on UA-cam did a search found your page THANK YOU THANK YOU FOR sharing this it was a big help !!!!! Thanks again !!

So your TV have an Android TV system build in? If so, which TV is it? If this isn't the case and you just have a streaming device plugged to your TV, which streaming device is it?
Most likely it's the the device settings but the app settings you have to change. For example, if it was the Netflix app you'll have to adjust the settings within Netflix.
Same thing happened to me but guess what? My talkback is off and it still does it. I tried turning talkback on and off doesn’t work. Shits annoying bro

Try unplugging the device from the power to restart it after you have Talkback set to off.
