    Hi folks, I've had confirmation that the stock push rod also has this adjustment! So you can try this out for FREE

      @@sergeantsodom6969 What are we adjusting here ? i took the lever bolt out looked like i was going to damage the rubber does the nut get wound or does it lock the pin ? is it the pin has to be rotated ? Does the pin pull out of the rubber and how does it separate from the lever ? thanks.

      @skippergonzo Hi mate
      You can just pull the rubber boot out of the MC, then pull it off the adjustment pin. I believe the adjuatment pin is attached to the lever (if youre talking about the stock lever) you turn the adjustment screw counter-clockwise to lengthen it, then re-install as you took it off.
      Cheers

    Hi mate! Nice channel!
    Dunno if you've tried that already as i haven't watched all of your vids yet, but disabling the abs greatly improved the feeling and trust in the brakes as well. Cheers !

    On my MT-10 I installed front SBS pads which seemed to work nice but 500 miles later in the twisties I totally LOST ALL lever pressure in a turn! lever to the bars CRASHED I still dont know why but I removed the SBS pads sanded the rotors and rebedded the original pads....my brakes are still wooden feeling I dont really trust em. I might put all new everything....better rotors better calipers and steel lines

      You're very welcome. You're you're doing God's work. The brakes on the 10 are mid at best. Figuring out ways to bring them up to snuff for very little money is very helpful.

    I dont see any yamaha bike under application for "£20" component very confused is it because it 22+ mt-10 with the new brembo master?

    Brilliant. The brakes on my 23 MT-10 aren't awful, but they could definitely use more bite.

    hey you have to enlarge the stem to a little below the maximum? or should the length of the stem be reduced?

    • @sergeantsodom6969
      @sergeantsodom6969  2 місяці тому

      Yes, further into the MC gives more feel/pressure, toward the lever/backing it out gives less

      Looking on fowlers at a part list for that model year, looks like it uses a nissin MC with a longer push rod, so it doesn't look like it I'm afraid. Might be worth sending him a message on Ebay, he's usually quite good with responses etc

      Just fitted it to my Kwak def takes squishy feel away tho done what u did took round the block to test and brakes jammed on had to weight 20 b4 I could move it.. backed it off seems OK tho will test again.. while looking at it I wonder what's to stop it adjusting itself with bumps etc over time as the adjuster part has no lock nut

    • @sergeantsodom6969
      @sergeantsodom6969  2 місяці тому

      @kevinmill7965 as I said you could do with getting the front wheel up as if you have it pushing too much pressure into he MC it can bind your breaks up, not good. There's a little grub screw on top you use to lock it in place, there's hardly a chance it will twist its way out, but if you find a good place you like it set, loctite it for good measure at that point

      @turbodave6068 It's running ridiculously rich and fuelling down low is pretty bad, I'm in on the dyno soon.
      A lot of techs are having big issues bench flashing these bikes due to the euro 5 restrictions and have had their ecus brick because of it, Andy at J33 I think is only doing dyno tunes for these bikes now because of these issues. But others may do them without issue, it's just a risk
