Jimmy I just wanted to let you know. You are the one who gave me the idea to get an EUC. I started on my onewheel XR and usually watched your videos on that. However you started posting EUC videos more frequently and were the influence that got me to order a v12.

For one handed trolley opening, you want to pull the trigger with your index while pushing down lightly on the handle to let the latch move freely followed by pulling the handle up with your thumb and pinky. Keep up the awesome clips, Jimmy!!

this v12 is amazing i would recommend on new rider to start with and grow up from it making money worth not buying a smaller euc 👌🏻 good and honest as usual🤜🏻🤛🏻

V11 has an IP rating as well but if you ride it in even the slightest humid conditions the ball bearings fail. I would take an IP rating from inmotion with an extreme grain of salt.
Thanks for this review - helpful. Re the music/sound wave conflict. Get yourself some audio transparent headphones. That way you can enjoy your music without inflicting it on everyone else and enjoy the sound wave feature.👍
I love the idea of the display. It's so inconvenient to have to bust out a smartphone app everytime you want to change a setting or see your wheel stats. Now i just need a heads up display for the speed.
For braking it holds the pedals stiff straight that's probably the reason you can't really leant in to the braking. Try softening the pedals while braking in the options.

What is your impression regarding BT distance range and sound quality during the ride? Mine breaks the sound during the drive even if I have my phone in my trousers pocket. When still - it looses the connectivity while about 2-3 meters in distance... tested with different phones
Very informative! You didn't comment on the rear light (or I missed it) - is it good? does it act as a brake light? You mentioned the wheel is IPX certified - is it officially certified or a self certification where the company says this is what they think it should be? Did you try altering the settings for braking or use a softer mode?
Hoverboard by far, is easier to ride. That said, the EUC is not really hard to ride, but there is a learning curve to it. Once learned, it is an amazing ride.

@Jordan When I got my OneWheel I told myself I'm going to ride the fucker to ride and not worry about damage. Like your EUC, most of the current damage is from my first month of riding. For these EUCs, however I may end up getting a lower end one. Just to beat it up and get that out of the way. Maybe a low end used model may make sense. Thanks for the great feedback!
If you tried to play soundwave and music simultaneously (and at full volume..) it could damage the speakers .. you should come to Montréal I wanna ride with you!!
If you really love your onewheel then I'd say don't get an euc! Why you ask? Because I'm going to just about guarantee you will find your onewheel VERY boring and have to sell it. Ask me how I know! 🤣
Here in the UK I think having speakers blasting out music is the kind of thing that will stop EUCs being legalised, I just don't think it's a good idea if they want to get considered as practical transport and not just an annoying gimmick.

I really like the idea of the sound wave…I would like it to be customizable, different sounds…Something like the thump of a Harley or a big block V8, or my personal choice for this device , I want it to sound like the Jetsons car 😂

I'd like to try it, as it's like the engines of a car. And cars have speakers. Another reason is that if you decide to pause or stop music the soundwave would still be running with no need to turn it on again. And if you want to resume your music you wouldn't need to turn the s.w. off.
how can you hear soundwave if your music is playing anyway. That is not a design oversight its exactly the way it should be the point of the soundwave is to alert pedestrians the music is ducked on purpose if your playing music whats the point of soundwave?
But you said the moment you played music while unboxing the v12 that the speakers sucked, they didn't have bass and now you say they are the best speakers? Also inmotion could wipe the map if they only had some more autonomy, maybe have a tier of wheels which would go like 80km(being optimistic here) and some that would go 150km+ (in terms of speed as long as it goes at least 50km/h safely it's great imo). They have water proofness which I still can't believe how people are paying thousands for something that is just "water resistant", it's ridiculous
I don't think the point of soundwave is to be nice to be heared, it's a matter of security. People can notice you in the street thanks to that. If you play music on it soundwave is meaningless as people will hear you coming by the same. So what's the point of wanting soundwave + music ?.....
yes, so soundwave shouldnt affect the volume and blend. But I see a point that with sondwave you get a speed feedback. Anyway I would like to see other nice feature and that is some high pitched tone (or even pitching soundwave) as a function of jerk. So you could make a quick movement and make pedestrians notice you from some distance just like a horn
I thought the same thing. Loud soundwave + loud music would honestly sound like a terrible mess. If you absolutely want soundwave and music at the same time (dunno why?) i think its brilliant that i lowers the music while accelerating. It even does so without delay or stutter.

Also without pads to leverage you will full off the back lol. Pads hold you on the wheel to allow for leverage on thewheel

I can't go more than a half hour without my feet screaming at me in pain in this EUC. Not the EUC fault but damn!

The braking was improved by a firmware update, but apparently only a few riders | testers got the update.

Why the hell do you want to listen to Soundwave and Music at the same time? Makes no sense. You watch tv with sound on a listen to music too?
