Love this style of flight review/experience. So many 'influencers' yapping away for the entire video - this was just perfect. Flying on Lufthansa business for the first time later this year, looking forward to it.
I can definitely think of a few “influencers” that I used to watch but stopped watching because their content started to become poor. Plus most of Flight reviewers focus either on business or first class and just ignores economy class.
I am currently on vacation in my native country of Sweden. We flew from Newark airport in New Jersey on Scandinavian Airlines plus which was pretty nice. We did have access to the lounge. However, I was not too impressed with the lounge at Newark. I do have to say, though that the food was good, but the lounge was too small. However, the flight was great. With plus, you do get bigger seats and bigger, IFC screens, and for the first time in my life, I got an amenity kit on a plane! I have never gotten that before, so that was pretty exciting. Obviously, we are flying plus back home again in about one month. In the meantime, I am really enjoying my vacation with my parents. It’s great to see family, cousins, aunts, and uncle’s that I haven’t seen in a long time
The 747 is the very best experience in flying - am constantly amazed at how something that big can actually fly and provide such comfort - and being upstairs is always the best!

Nice engine roar on take off. I had the pleasure of flying LAX to Auckland in business class when Air NZ used to fly these. I recall walking up and down the stairs to upper deck at 35000 feet in the air. Shutter went off at that moment.
Great to see the capital airport busy and returning to some semblance of normal. I know when I flew into the German capital in 2019 it was certainly bustling (even in the early morning hours when I arrived).
Does Lufthansa still serve the meal all on one tray "due to the pandemic" or have they finally got a grip of what they are doing and are back to normal service like so many others?!

And food and service seemed to excellent at this flight. Last but not least, to be business guest in one of the last Boeing 747-400 in service at a premium carrier is a benefit, too. Nice, I am a little bit envious, since I also like Dubai pretty much.
I have flown Lufthansa Business on their A340 and First Class on their A320 which was incredible! On the trip, we flew from Stockholm, Sweden to Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, via Munich, and Boston. The airport in Munich was amazing. I don’t remember if we had the chance to try the lounge there but the airport was great.

Nachdem Lufthansa definitiv den A 380 beerdigt hat, steht einer weiteren Karriere der 747 nichts mehr im Weg. Wenn man mal überlegt, die 747 über 50 Jahre alt im Konzept und heute immer noch wettbewerbsfähig. Alle Achtung, vor allen Dingen an Boeing, für diese Cash cow unter den Flugzeugen. Der 380 ist ja dagegen ein Rohrkrepierer, bereits Produktionsende und ein Milliardengrab. Obwohl, auch der 380 ist ein geiles Flugzeug, sage ich aus eigener Erfahrung, mehrmals FRA SFO geflogen.
Excellent report! We have done both upper and main deck, i agree the 2+2 seat and legroom i better but we were seated on the port side right behind that exit door, which was used as a service prepping space the entire flight so not as cozy. Cant wait to get back! Greetings from Michigan.
Awesome trip report.. The beauty of queen of the sky is irreplaceable... one of the engineering marvel... The good part is that Lufthansa also reactivated some of their A 340-600 which is very rare to see in most of the airports
Just an observation. My memory of business class is smaller screens from the arm rest. Just feels like the screens may be larger now, but further away, more susceptible to reflection and potential of distraction from adjacent screen
Good old days when the bottom level of the Jumbo business class was smoking but not the upper desk... Traveling to Asia with a nonsmoker colleague we always had a battle where to sit :)
Since when is the 747 -400 a Classic? only the 100/200 are classics, they do the same misleading info on the 737 calling a 300/400 classic there not, only 100/200 are classics if you guys' don`t know because you are too young, I understand.
Can you do garuda 's 777 300 brutally honest pls i tried the 777 300 and it was worth it and i highly recommendeed you to bussiness class because its so freaking good and thats my request hope you can fullfill it cya!
I was on that same flight about 3 weeks ago. When I was on the outbound DXB-FRA leg, it was a 748, and there were a few minor differences in the cabin. Those fast passes were worthless with the e-gates at passport control, and I still had to see an official.
I do over 150 international flights a year for work , all paid by different companies and it is always business sometimes first , I would give it up at the drop of a hat if I could do the same work for same money without travel and I have never rated Lufthansa as a great airline. I have been in both business and first class when they have had it , and for a country that does everything the BEST or works of that motto , it really surprised me . Even in first class the seats were very ordinary and did not fully recline into a bed. That might sound oh poor baby but when you need to work hours of the plane and fly out 24 hours later you need to sleep . Business on Emirates, Qantas, and Qatar it is standard in business international just to name a few. Plus I have always found the steward crew quite disinterested.
I do like your videos, however a lot of the text 'blends' into the background and is missed. Can you possibly do what most of the other guys do and put a shaded area behind the text . This will totally enhance your work as currently I have to rewind to re read it. Keep up the good work (with shaded)

I flew them recently in the 747-8 from Miami and the business class service was on pre-pandemic level

I took a flight one of these iconic birds in 2017. Lufthansa 446 FRA-DEN, aircraft D-ABVS. Only 747 I had ever been on. Nice review!

Last time I was at Frankfurt Airport was September 2020. I'm glad to see it with much more people and much more shops open.

the upper deck is wayy to narrow with too little privacy for a flight during a pandemic, I stay on the lower deck
