Vince is very humble. I love that. So real and down to earth. Another great interview Chris 👏 Chris , you look dang good in drivers seat. SMOOTH OPERATOR DRIVER
WOW... what a great story...doesn't get ANY more heartfelt honest than that... hope I'm doing as well and richly blessed at 70... thank you Mr.Vince and thank you, Chris/BRV!!
I’m really enjoying Vince talking about this Chris. The part of when trucking was at its best between the 70s & 90s. A lot simpler then compared to today
This is a fantastic video Chris! Yes, pretty much everything he’s saying relates back to my younger days when I was in my early teenage years and in my early 20/s when I grew up around my neighbors heavy duty tow/recovery business. Done the same as he done & I’m in my early 50s now. He’s the kind of drivers I grew up around and I do remember a lot of what he’s talking about even with those ComCheks. Hope to one day meet with you and this guy here. So many stories we could share together. Again, love the video!!
Wow. Carpet transport was a blast from the past. I trip leased with them a couple times back in the early 30s . Love the interviews you do with old school guys. I lived this. I guess I am just an old trucker myself. . Grew up in the industry. 48 years and still trucking. Thanks for putting out another great video Chris.
I enjoyed this video it helped me think back to when I started driving in 78.the trucks have gotten much better and the roads in some states have improved a lot, but the skill level of the drivers has gotten so bad. It’s like working with a bunch of bratty 12 year old kids.
I’d buy Vince a cup of coffee ☕️ if we even meet up. And Chris, I was just like Richard in the wrecker business. Started in the one ton up to the heavy duty and like he said it’s round the clock work.
Grinding a gear ìs just how it is when your learning I know cause when you get into a different truck you just have to get aquantid if you know what I mean 👍
That was a top shelf interview, I am like him 50 years of trucking, retired 2 years ago. I miss the the late 60s 70s80s those were good times. Times have changed so much for the most time anymore for a company driver anyway it’s a just a job , not much real fun anymore.
@ informative and good conversation and and also good to see what there day to day is and they people u have on are people I personally can listen to for hours
@@rileygarrett3551 Okay, good to know. Believe it or not, it is sooo much easier to make this type of video. The Rolling CB Interviews are very difficult to pull of flawlessly like I do.
