Chuckling about your kids thinking they were being filmed. Your bouquets are gorgeous, with your knowledge and experience so helpful, I look forward to more videos.
So excited for this! Your style is my favorite 😍 so thanks for sharing your tips! I'm an overstuffer and I love whimsical but am on the verge of it just looking messy 🤪 haha
I REALLY ENJOY watching your videos!❤ I learn something from each video you put out and find you so informative on many topics involving flower farming on a small scale. The bouquets you make are absolutely stunning and I hope to one day be half as good as you are at making them. Keep the info coming please!
Awee thanks Dawn, that is so nice to hear! I’m thrilled you’re finding them so helpful! And someday yes, you will be, it just takes time and practice! 😘
So excited to be learning more about this because I like bouquets to look like something I would purchase and most market bouquets are just awful! Your garden looks so beautiful and so inspiring!❤🌺❤️
Thank you! There are different ways to improve the look of bouquets from using a good blend of flower types to working effectively with colour! We definitely have a lot to cover! 🙌🏻
Suggestion for market bouquets is clarifying when to use what solution: harvesting, holding, quick dip, vase food. I see many questions in our group asking when to use each.
Thank you for your helpful content! Would love to know your method of processing your flowers. Like what products you use (if any) to hold flowers in buckets when cutting and in the cooler (if you use one).
I’m interested in specific bouquet recipes. Seems I’m always saying, “Gosh, that would go perfectly in this bouquet if only it were a bit more…” Colors are hard to choose, and aren’t always what the catalog shows. I’m new here but love your channel!
Great comment, yes! I’m happy to share some of my specific recipes and also, colour is such a great one to get a handle on, we will continue to dive into colour!
Curious about your recipes and wisdom about color palettes. It’s really easy to have too much going on color wise I think. sometimes it can totally work, but other times it’s a disaster.
Thank you for sharing. I only make bouquets for myself. But I am using spirea as a filler in the bouquets, and it lasts all season long. Being that it is a perennial is wonderful as well. Another filler I am using is cinnamon basil. Any tips on growing yarrow would be much appreciated. Thanks again.
Yes I absolutely do; and particularly for fall and winter wreaths and spring bouquets. Check out my video on mixing dry and fresh flowers if you haven’t found it already!
Haha! That will help! For the focals, I go from peonies into dahlias. In fact, I’ve gotten my dahlias to bloom at the same time as my peonies at this point; but between storing peonies for weeks and my early dahlias, that is all I really grow for focals. I don’t use lilies, although I’ve inherited a few into my perennial garden, and I don’t focus on sunflowers, although I grow a few for later season just for myself. In my zone, the dahlias carry me right through into the fall :)
Love your videos, so informative! I struggle with overstuffing bouquets because I can’t seem to loosen my death grip on the flowers and so the bouquets always seem too skinny, if that makes sense? Also would love to see when you’re harvesting how far down you cut.. Thanks, looking forward to the series on market bouquets 😊
I would love flower stands and market bouquet videos. I love watching creative people make beautiful arrangements.
Awesome, thank you!
I love your approach to flower farming. Thankyou for your informative videos. Go team perennials!!
Yesssss! 🙌🏻🙌🏻🙌🏻
I look forward to this market bouquet series ! Thank you for sharing your knowledge with us xo
Thanks Margaret!

Always interested in early foliages! I sell at a farmers market. We have to grow everything in order to sell. I struggle with foliages

Ooh good suggestion!
Really looking forward to this! Hoping you touch on creating market bouquets with a formula where the bouquet isn't completely symmetrical.
Good one! Thank you!

Ooh yes, we will definitely dig into effective colour palettes!
I would love to know easy ways to wrap bouquets. TY!!
Awesome! I will definitely be covering this!

I love spirea too! Perennials are my specialty!
I'm new to your channel. I'm wondering if you dry any of your flowers for fall and winter bouquets?
Yes I absolutely do; and particularly for fall and winter wreaths and spring bouquets. Check out my video on mixing dry and fresh flowers if you haven’t found it already!
What do you use as a focal flower during the lull between peony/ranunculus/anemones and lilies/sunnies
Lol, I just found your gap video

Fillers and discs you add to dahlia bouquets?
@@floristsonfarms Thank you . I’m storing some peonies for the 1st time this year. We’ll see how that goes.
Love your videos, so informative!

Thank you Wanda! 💖
I’m giggling listening to you telling the kids you aren’t filming them skinny dipping. lol.
Haha they screamed and jumped into the water 😂
