Really good tips and great to have a UK UA-camr! However, I think there is probably a big difference between cut flowers for weddings (which only need to last a day or two) and those for the vase? I'm not a big flower arranger, just want to cut a few perennials from the garden and know they will be minimal fuss, and last for at least a week. And I find foliage difficult too as the stems taken from many shrubs wilt really quickly. I would LOVE a couple of videos focussing on foliage (and tips for longevity), and long lasting perennials for the vase.
Brilliant, yes absolutely they are picked at a different stage for weddings as the flowers need to be more open. I will do a foliage video. What a great idea, thank you!
My perennials saved me this year. I moved annual flower field and had no autumn sown annuals. I have a well established perennial garden at home on half an acre. The down side is there were no flowers in my garden😂
Better pictures of the perennials would have been nice
