Just found this mate, excellent stuff! I love the way you "done" some of those youngsters on obviously quicker bikes. That was a treat. Are your brakes up to it or is it just me? Seemed like you had to brake very early for the hairpin. I'm gonna watch the IOM one next.
Got some nice side on photos but unfortunately can't attach any to the reply sorry, but bike runs thunderace front/rear forks wheels, side on braced frame, rvf400 lower radiator fitted in the front of the fairing to increase cooling, motor is 961cc, built to my specs.
@@pauldavies8371 Thanks for the reply and no worries. Any pics online somewhere? I've got a pretty strong love for the Eddie Lawson 86 Daytona winner so I'm always looking at/for something like yours. Cheers!
Changed the thumbnail to side on. Exhaust was new for last year and a big improvement on the old+meets latest circuit noise regs. Just doesn't look as good as the old one.
Thank you, so running conti race attack, soft front and medium rear on 17" wheels back and front. I run thunderace front and back end. Plenty of choice for wheels, best change the rear to 17" as well for best tyre choice.
I had this bike when i was 18 ! In early 90is , I remember engine sound to this day .
Same!
Brilliant I’ll let the boys in Gower timber know 👍🏍🍺

Fun ride mate, sound is really choppy which is a shame as FZ is sounding great.
Think it's picking a lot of vibration up from where it's mounted off the throttle, I'll see if I can sort in the winter.
Came here for views of the bike. The thumbnail was promising. 🤔

@@pauldavies8371 Thanks! It's so tiny tho...
I can tell it's well cared for.
Had two of em. Red countershaft main bearing failure on both 😢 that 5 valves per cylinder was an awesome sound back then. Even bone stock
That was some ride! What tyres are you running? I'm contemplating buying one of these. Is it easy to get a 17" wheel upfront?

@@pauldavies8371 I'm also a fan of the Conti race attack! Do you have a blog or a place where you describe the mods on your bike?
