@@RubyPiec I mostly played in the teams championship, in 2 leagues, a total of 17 games per year if I am not mistaken. Plus I played in a home championship in my club every week and they didn't accept it either😂

There is lot of important things to do in life than to see me playing stafford gambits. Everyone forgot to take notes of this legendary speech by Eric lol.
2:55 Wow, stockfish says for white to take the knight. I guess it's something to with black's queen ending up in an awkward position? And white gets both a knight and a pawn for the rook, so not the worst trade.
f3 is actually a valid response against the stafford according to stocky, you learn something new every day (although you should play Qe2 with haste, if you do the position should hold). Sometimes unintuitive works I guess.
4:05 I think there is B×g4 for Eric...Becoz after f×g4, there is Rf2+ then after Ke1...g2 wins back material...and Eric's position would have been great.
I remember this, this was ages ago. You must have tons of backlog to upload Eric. If you *Push* through it, you should be done by the end of the year... maybe...
4:00 i would had like to see Bxg4, probably best answer was Bg2,Bd3(and the game keeps going, but still a winning position for black,if white makes mistakes,it can be checkmate
So apparently Rxd4+ was a mistake, but playing it one move earlier was the best move... I guess the king had a c3 b2 path opened up that they didn't use properly.
People never accept my Stafford so by the time someone finally accepts it I forget all the traps Eric taught me.
Rhett Simbulan same thing when I try queens gambit lmao
LMAO
@@randynguyen997 I played quenns gambit for about 3 years in competitive chess, it never got accepted lol

Eric Rosen the leading innovator of the stafford gambit
when the video starts with two dah's in a row you know its gonna be good
Let's call this variant 'Game of Pins'
I really adore watching Eric because he is so chill and so he makes me feel good after a long day ! + I learn chess and fun !
I just love it how it advertise chess website online teaching course in a chess video, which actually got me intrigued and click on it
should be called the 'hellraiser' gambit
More pins than a pin cushion
f3 is actually a valid response against the stafford according to stocky, you learn something new every day (although you should play Qe2 with haste, if you do the position should hold). Sometimes unintuitive works I guess.
Follow Eric's thought process!! Great stuff
at this point it should be called the Rosen gambit
4:29 sound kinda fun :P
"pin fork pin move trap pin sac" :DD Almost poetic
It's a fork and a pin, so it's a fin!

I like your video as usual Eric! Though at move 12 (3:07) you can reply with moving your pawn to g5 and still win the rook.

3:50 Black can play Bxg4, if fxg4, Rf2+, king moves, then g2 ! .... and it’s another fork haha

Man, I feel The Simpsons should do a crossover episode where you and homer play chess and he goes 'Doh' and you go 'Dah'.
So apparently Rxd4+ was a mistake, but playing it one move earlier was the best move... I guess the king had a c3 b2 path opened up that they didn't use properly.
going to subscribe. you got me watching the skilling championship yesterday.
When the pin happens, would bishop to g4 be the best move? Rather than when he pulled the queen back to h6
