Great update on this treadmill. You’re absolutely right about the resistance handle. There should be no reason to have put it on the inside. Not a dealbreaker, but something that would be in the back of my mind during every cardio session. You definitely picked the right type of treadmill. I have a SOLE ST90 and, although they you can, it cannot be moved easily AT ALL. Next time, I’ll just get this treadmill. Keep up the great work.
Hi, thank you for these reviews! One question - I have a cheaper Signature Fitness curved treadmill where the belt movement is uneven so it hesitates sometimes and surges sometimes. Is there any sense of that with the Grit? I just want to be sure there’ll be no issue with keeping a steady pace, we’ll be using this mostly for running a couple miles at a time.
That's a great question... I have not had one instance of either a surge or hesitation in the belt movement when walking or running. And I've used it for walking, backward walking, running and sprinting at all 4 resistance levels and for as little as 15 seconds up to 60 minutes at a time. When switching the different levels of resistance there is obviously a change in belt movement... that's the point... but if done on the fly it can throw off a couple steps during the switch. Especially if going from level 1 to 4 or vice versa, but no more than you would expect it to.
Garage Gym Reviews kind of scorched the regular curved tru grit. Said it was super loud when running and hard to read the screen. Have you noticed any of that
No… the screen is much closer to you and super easy to read. And it’s not silent, but I wouldn’t say it’s loud either. I have a concept 2 rower that is louder than the grit runner elite.
@@bigmikebehrens thanks! Appreciate your videos as I would use similar with running and rucking. Was nervous when I started reading reviews about the bankruptcy and the lower model did not get great reviews, and of course Assault Runner Pro and Elite is everywhere.
Rucking plus the resistance would be a heck of a workout. The lower model has definitely got some not great reviews… I personally haven’t used one but based on the reviews I’ve seen it’s warranted! But at that original price point it was good enough. And I’m pretty sure the bankruptcy stuff is behind them now… they are launching new legit products and rebuilding trust in the brand. Gonna take a while… but this runner is definitely a step in the right direction.
Hi, thank you for posting your videos they are very helpful. Just wondering can you change the distance on this runner either to yards or meters? Thanks again
I’m still using it and I genuinely love it! Most of the reviews on Amazon are for the grit runner… not the elite. The elite model is a super solid piece of equipment. I haven’t used the regular grit runner so I can’t speak to the quality of it.

Are you still feeling good about the Elite Runner? They have a BF sale and been comparing to the Assault Runner Elite
I really am! I’ve used it almost every day since I got it.
The thing that really sets it apart for me is the adjustable resistance feature.
Do you have any specific questions about it that I can try to answer?

And obviously the Assault runners are proven… so it really comes down to if you wanna be able to add the extra resistance or not.
Would a kindle fit in the front holder?
Yes... My iPhone 12 fits, and with the case is just under 6.5" tall. The kindle measurements I found say it's 6.2" tall. So should work!!

Yes… you can change it to meters or miles. Here’s a quick short on how to do it.

You're Welcome! Let me know if you have any other questions!
are you still using it? the reviews on Amazon are pretty bad and customer service is bad so warranty is of no use

@@bigmikebehrens thanks.. any idea about how the xebex runners are?
I don’t have first hand experience with them… but they look solid from a quick look at their website.
