It’s like that part in Stranger Things when the person tell eleven that they (the people from Hawkins) can’t help her, and she replies ‘no, but I can help them’ or something, it was a badass scene
i`m literally bawling because of this scene, its like this is reward for all of our explorations doing all those small things like blooming a tree, feeding the animals, helping people here and there, when those people seeing miracles and saying thanks to god without knowing the said god is the wolf near them. It`s so satisfiying, i will never forget this game
"Fido won't roll over and play dead for evil!" -Susano, the Greatest Warrier Who Ever Lived That is the line that got me. I was crying for the rest of the cutscene, after watching it a second consecutive time.
Just Chuggaa saying "And we are Okami Amaterasu, Goddess of the Sun, the power that will bring light back to this world." really made this battle more serious for me
Your not alone. This scene alone is one of the most moving scene in gaming history! Ammy, close to her death, still fighting against the Dark Lord Yami. Issun, realizing his resolve, help her by being her Celestial Envoy to spread her greatness to Nippon. The people realize Ammy was a god all this time and prayed for her. This restores her power to it’s fullest, remembering all of her brush skills including Yami’s weakness, Sunrise AKA her power. Not that by the song, Reset Thank You, is a great music to play it. Not only that but it also plays Rising Sun as the final boss track, easily one of my favorites
I love when in a final boss it looks like you're done for and feel like you can't go on and then you see people cheering you on and you become an overpowered beast Especially with that heartwarming music! I cried a lot!
There is nothing negative I can say about this game. The story was fantastic, the abilities are amazing, and the characters are flawless in design. Not to mention the amazing art direction.

I never knew why this scene got me so much. It always stuck with me until one day I got it. For so long, Amaterasu was helping others. People would beg for her help and give minimal in return. They always seemed to hardly appreciate the help and you never heard from them again. However, when things got dire, people seemed to realize what they'd done and tried to make it right without Amaterasu asking. Its the power of appreciation and gratitude. They reminded Amaterasu that she is appreciated and that's what makes it so powerful for me.
Well Chuggaa, once again you've brought happiness and inspiration to gamers and nongamers who just watched to be watching. Thank you for this experience and all the others you will give and have given.

I completed the game some weeks ago and I cried so bad while I was defeating Yami that I hardly saw the screen. Now I wanted to see the ending again and here I am, bathing on my own tears. Jesus Christ, I'll never get over this game.
Thank you Chuggaa! You were the one who exposed me to Okami. I got it myself and I loved it to death! I'd even say it's my favorite game of all time. Choip.
There's power to the words...
"You are loved" and "Thank you."
Well Chuggaa, once again you've brought happiness and inspiration to gamers and nongamers who just watched to be watching. Thank you for this experience and all the others you will give and have given.
This is one of the best endings to a game ever made. I love this so much.
my 5th watch of this let's play, and this episode always makes me cry out of just how beautiful this game is and shows that even a video game can show how human we are on the inside
Watch through # 17 and not even a minute into I had to pause it to wait out the tears so I can watch and read the dialog. This is a powerful story and now we know that the final battle is truly meant to be a message for the individual to decipher
Bug boy was right SHE RETURNS
Okami is an absolutely beautiful game. No matter how many times I see it, the ending always makes me cry. It's just so inspirational. ;-;
I'm not ashaimed to admit it, the bit where everyone is praying to Amaterasu from seeing Issun's paintings always makes me tear up
Thank you for the AWESOME let's play Emile! I think we can all agree that we really enjoy both your okami and okamiden let's play and I hope that if there will be a sequel that you will play that too!
This is the second LP in a row I've watched through that almost made me cry at the end (the first one being Xenoblade Chronicles). You really picked good games to LP Chuggaaconroy. Keep up to good work.
I can hear Mako Iwamatsu-dono from beyond the grave saying "It will always be from human hand that evil enters this world."
This made me cry. I don't think I've ever cried to a video game before this. It's an absolutely beautiful game, and I'm glad I got to see it. Thank you, so much!
It really had been 2 years since the firts time I saw this? ... I still cry everytime I watch this ... It had been 2 years since the person that bring the light back to my world found me.. 2 years since I promised I would not give up.. for her.. and I remembered it every time I watch this video
This made me cry all I have to say that I love what you did showing me this game I now watch this everyday because it touches me you have opened up a game to me that I have been searching for all my life... Just thank you
I love this bossfight, but I just want to say something about it that I feel would make it better. Having this final phase of the final boss give you infinite ink throughout the whole boss except during the times it makes darkness fall around you.
I cried during the ending, and I never cry EVER.
For the first 8 minutes, was the best thing ive seen
This music is making me cry! You know something is really good if have this effect on your emotions!
Okami has the best soundtrack EVER in a game, stunning visuals, an epic engaging story, characters you love and care for, laughs, tears and most important of all... soul. Okami
A giant evil hand yami is the origin of emax eternatus
"things end. That's all. Everything ends and it's always sad. But everything begins again, too, and that's always happy." - Peter capaldi, Dr who
I think this is the 7th time I've watched this let's play, and i still cannot not cry at that scene.
This ending is heart wrenching... I have never had an emotional feeling as strong as this with another game.
the music made me cry... and then i cried again because i was happy. it's so beautiful. it's seriously like watching a movie.
The series was so good, I watched t whole thing two times. Great job, Chugga!
I cant even begin to show how much I tresure this game. it was the very thing that got me innterested in japanese culture. And then the art, its just, its the most beautiful thing ive seen in my life. the music is also just lovley. I dont think there are words for how lovley and amazing this game is.
This is the best LP you ever did! Of course, it was the first one I ever watched, but I never regretted watching this all the way to the end, even three times! Keep up the good work, Chugga, and I hope you could make even better LPs in the future now that you've finished Emerald. And congrats for 400000 subscribers and the 4th year aniverssery!
