Hey Brother , was just out there a couple weeks ago , all the boats in the narrows are after crappie but there are a lot of bass in the Narrows too . Spring craw crank baits worked for me .
@@toddandpamhittle4773 I have never used it but if you can find the "about" tab on my channel and then click on message you can send a private message. There are tutorials out there that explain it better because I never did it before.
CJ is my home lake. If you decide to come back, try a Ned Rig, fluke, dropshot with a 3" Gulp Minnow. CJ is a very finessey body of water. A popper works well along with an underspin and jig. Hope you come back and try agin.
@alone1again I might but it wouldn't be until next year if I'm still doing this. I was there in April I believe so the water was cold. I probably spent too much time shallow.
Appreciate the courage it takes to be so transparent and personal. Another great video - cheers!
Thanks for the nice words.
You sound just like me! Bless you brother and tight lines! Love watching your videos
Going out there tomorrow! Thanks for the video man got a new subscriber here for sure

Hi John. Enjoy your videos. We were hoping you knew about Oxbow.
I got to fish it while I was down there. Caught a lot of fish but no quality ones.
@@idahobassfishing1650 any way to message you other than comments? Regarding our local lake.
@@idahobassfishing1650 agree. oxbow is great for numbers.

Did you try throwing a jerkbait or crank? Those are ideal conditions for both.
No pike but there is sturgeon in cj. Or a giant rainbow trout
