Thanks mate! And yes was a cracking day. Having a hot sunny day helped too. With plenty food and drink. And everyone that attended in good spirits. I think all in all was one of the nicest days this year 👍
Really enjoy channel!! Curious, at what RPM are you finding you shift in normal riding? In US an find 55-65 mph is an awkward up an down between 4th-5th. 4200-5k just feels buzzy.
I took an 890 duke out for a blast when my 1290 SAS was getting a replacement water pipe that was weeping. It was cracking! Sweet suspension, awesome engine and brakes.
My Brand new SAS had a coolant leak also, must be a common fault. KTM (Red Lines Motorcycles) stripped down the whole bike but couldn't find the source, it was only weeping overnight when the bike was stone cold. They tightened everything they could see and problem solved. Great guys there.
@@RicardoYeep Aye, been busy enjoying the bike. Currently in a rather wet and cold Ullapool but still awesome. I just love this bike. Such a pussycat until you gas it. BTW, I got a pipewerx can 😉 proper sounding now
HAHA nice.. So no doubt your waking your neighbours up every morning now! But you are right these bikes are sensible when you want them to be but an absolute demon when the time is right :)
Haha funny !! autograph 😂 (and yes I do know your only kidding) … nice meeting you mate and see you when you are around next time! Was great catching up and seeing a familiar face in person 👍🙏🤝
Haha dreaming !! I wish. That’s the one problem you cannot get a SAR demo anywhere I think. They are short supply compared to the SAS so any available ones are simply sold.. no need to demo. Which is a shame really as they are more expensive and a large financial commitment.
@@RicardoYeep Thank you if so I'll be there...people say try the SAS but they are nothing alike as the R has the WP adjustable suspension not electronically as on the SAS the ride must feel differentl...
Your spot on there big time. Just getting off the centre stand onto its suspension you can feel it right away how the bike is different. My experience of the WP XPLOR suspension on my 790R had a big impact on my decision and how I intend to use my bikes 👍 there is a very noticeable difference
great video - great bikes as well - loved it

Morning mate! Long time no see 👍 yeah that 890 is very nice tool. Weight v power is an absolute package. Particularly the 890 Duke R 💪

I just hope KTM can deliver the orders.
😂😂😂😂
Do they have an 1290 super adventure R on test..?

@@RicardoYeep OK Thanks as I live in Stoke-on-Trent and am really interested in buying one but as you say can't get to test one anywhere....
I’ll ask our KTM rep who will be supplying a truck of bikes for this years KTM demo day next month if there’s a SAR this time and let you know 👍
