As someone who works in a stainless mill, and gets my clear embedded with Lyme, I love it with the warranty. I see some haters, but to each their own. Wraps are popular, and to get one for 6k WITH a warranty…. I’m a fan.
I paid $5500 for my Xpel stealth (matte) ppf ceramic coated included on my WB Challenger & the factory option stripe was put on top of it. 3 year warranty for bubbling & peeling & 10 years for yellowing from Xpel. If it was offered from the factory, I would have checked that box.
Always loving the Mustang. I feel a special connection to Ford, and to the brand. My love of Ford from my Father(RIP 1920-2009), and the Mustang, as I was born 4 weeks to the day after the Mustangs launch on April 16, 1964.
My dad had a '67 mustang and a '71 Mach1, I have owned an '88 GT, '94 GT, '95 V6, '99V6, '20 GT500. Still have the '88 and the '20.... so yeah, it's in the bloodline.
I see it as an investment. The 3-year warranty definitely supports the price of the investment. An added value to protect the paint. It would be paying more going to a paint repair shop to correct a problem with your car's paint.
That’s a normal price you can get a cheap job done for 3k , but if you want a quality wrap it usually starts at around 5k at a professional shop all the way up to 10k depending on the wrap(chromes are really expensive)
Always been all about Fords, grew up on mostly Fords, always love the Mustangs, from the Classic first generation on up (exception Mustang II, they are not mustangs my opinion) to the Foxbody, SN95, S197, S550, and last the S650.
I like the wrap option but I’m not a fan of any matte color nor the price point of $5995. For that price, I’d rather spend it on the GT Performance package. Now the two tone interior, I loved that tan and black leather interior. Honestly, that two tone combo would look stellar with any exterior color .
@StangMode Completely off topic but today I was testing my Dark Horse and found that it's fastest roll race is in Drag mode with traction off paddle 2nd then back to auto after you send it. Huge difference from Sport mode in a roll.
StangMode Awesome Video I think it's awesome that Ford now offers Matte wraps from Factory and the price is pretty reasonable and I think that Sydney Sweeney Edition S650 GT looks absolutey gorgeous
Sweeney edition would sell like crazy to the females that I know. Also, I like the wrap from factory option cause I don’t like the idea of someone ripping off my bumpers and panel pieces as much as a Ford worker. But that might just be me.
❤😂😢😮😅😊😊😊 mr. Thang mode yes 60 years of Mustang Dodge is not 60 Camaro not 60 but Ford is the only one yes, right on keep up the good work products I will always buy for the shit on my Ford is still rims preacher

I love the factory wrap but what I love even more is the custom GT that person won my gosh it’s beautiful

It looks nice, but I would use that 6,000 towards a Whipple supercharger!
Still $4k short :(
Love the robins, egg, blue, crushed crystal clearcoat😊
Sweet…especially at the end!!!🐎🙌💯
If its PPF like the stealth xpel wrap its worth it, no down time, and ready to go soon as you get it.

Ice- T back with another slapper.
6k is wild though
Offer it as a paint color no body wants a wrap from the factory.
Price-wise it's on par with getting a full wrap PPF aftermarket, so there's definitely a market.
Is it ppf? @@dickeyseamus
@@ZoubeirsWorldyes it is

awesome! can't wait for the 60th anniversary show. :)
Oh they gone have fun with that warranty 😆
With the exception of the crushed glass it looks like the paint job on on Ken Miles 1966 LeMans car which was a Ford color at the time in 1966
Worth the money
how do i get press access to the javits center?

Not a fan of Matte. Looks like it’s been painted by hand at home.
I’d rather see them go in the direction of carbon wheels from factory ala gt350r or even light weight carbon seats rather than a wrap
They already have carbon fiber wheels for the dark horse
April 17th will be a launch of a new variant mustang that's not the GTD
Where did you see this or find out about this ?
👀🤔
Beautiful Mustang. Oh! I'm the winner of the Sidney Sweeny Mustang. NO. Not really. It sure is nice though. I would never win a car like that.
I had to look up who was Sydney Sweeney. Never heard of her.
Love it but $6k 😬

Sounds like a way to get away with selling people cars with paint issues
I never understood matte wrapping a metallic paint job. That King Ranch leather interior though…👌🏻
wrap $5 Grand, warranty $1 Grand.
Who still does wraps in 2024? What happened to matte clear coat like Mercedes does? Will be 3 times cheaper too smh
Garbage! Money, being thrown away!
Total waste of money.
