Stunning car, great weather, good factory tour, Project 8 chase car, but the highlight was watching your reaction throughout the whole film which was utterly delightful. Looking forward to seeing the next films of the Emira’s European running in trip. Be interesting to hear the feedback from Ferrari & Pagani to the Lotus…
The color selection is wow perfect - great to see it in those colors...that is an absolutely beautiful car - one for the ages. Agree on the silver wheels issue - it is odd people don't go with silver more....black used to be unique/neat/different....now it is just everywhere. I sort of like gold and red wheels though (911's...). So don't listen to me too much perhaps. Have a great trip and thank you for the video. It was very well done (to your team too). Tough job taking the jag home.... :)
Not seen you like that before, Harry. Like a teenager desperately wanting to play with his present without hearing the backstory of how they got it! Rare for you, but a joy to see. A beautiful car and I hope it's everything you wanted.
Congrats to Harry, nice to see you supporting a great British car brand. Big believer in the benefits of running in a new car even though most don’t have the patience but then I tend to keep my cars longer than most. I would swap out the engine and gearbox oil at 1000 miles personally. Lotus used to have running in oil that allowed for just the right amount of wear to bed everything in but it needed replacing at 1000 miles. I’d be interested to know what has changed.
Exactly what I thought when I saw the 10,000 mile oil change intervals in the book. That's already standard in automotive but thought that Lotus as an enthusiast brand would recommend oil change after run in period. But all in all it's Toyota engine so it'll probably be reliable either way.
What a gorgeous car! I think in 50 years, it will still be regarded for stunning and timeless good looks like the Miura is today. 1,000 miles to break-in . . . for me, that would be early on Day 2. 🙂

I wish Lotus all the best for the future! Such a cool car company and seeing their top people on Matt Farah's Podcast just made the company all the more special!
Congrats, Harry! Beautiful car - that last minute tick of the box for the tan interior was inspired. Looks terrific.
How could not have a smile on your face picking that up. 10/10
So pleased for you Harry, and what a great colour combo you have!! Enjoy the running in phase.
That S1 green Elise in the back is gorgeous too, lovely colour
Stunning car, great weather, good factory tour, Project 8 chase car, but the highlight was watching your reaction throughout the whole film which was utterly delightful. Looking forward to seeing the next films of the Emira’s European running in trip. Be interesting to hear the feedback from Ferrari & Pagani to the Lotus…
Lovely, and the right colour wheels.
Black wheels for folks who have never had plastic wheel trims fall off. They're a bit Vauxhall Nova, Mk 2 Astra.
Congrats Harry and can’t wait to see more content on the Emira…
The prettiest car that Lotus have made for ages! Lovely!
Because it’s a ferrari
Good for you Harry! Love to see your boyish excitement and enthusiasm! Nothing like it! Put a smile on my face the entire episode.
Love the colour combination .
It looks great 👍🏻
I felt your excitement through my screen Harry. UA-cam videos cannot get any better than that. Enjoy!
Gorgeous car Harry! Love the color, interior combo and shiney wheels! 🎉 What a fantastic team at Lotus! 🏁
A dream to pick up such a beautiful car from the factory - what an experience! Some of us will never experience that & so grateful that you shared that with us & took us along for the ride! 👏👏👏👏
Awesome Harry! :) I picked up mine a few days prior (I was first hethel collection) and it was an incredible experience! Glad your enjoying the vehicle so much!!!
+1 .. Silver-colored wheels are where it's at ... I too don't understand the black wheel color trend.. Agreed, silver does the trick. ...
Will be certain to have an inperson look at the Denver, Colorado Lotus dealership . . .
this is what we call a 'buyer experience'.....great video!!
yeah my nephew had a similar experience when he picked up his 911GT2 from Porsche Melbourne. Bit hard to replicate the factory experience when you are so far away. I am impressed by the Lotus factory.
How lovely to hear excitement in Harry’s voice. Clearly can’t wait to get his hands on the car.
I'm 30 seconds in and it's so nice to see how massively excited you are to pick up your new Lotus! #Isaidahiphop
Beautiful.
Best looking lotus since the Elise! They’re done a cracking job with this one! 👍
Bet its in a different league to drive compared to those 80s super cars better made as well with a stiffer bodyshell
I’m glad to see Mr Metcalf still gets excited taking delivery of his new car. (Even comparing it with his current stable) His young boy Christmas morning excitement reminds us that our fascination with cars never gets old. Thanks for sharing Mr Metcalf.
Fantastic spec, Harry! Looks absolutely stunning 👏🏼
Congrats, Harry! :D
Don’t know who’s happier, me or Harry! 😂 I’m smiling ear to ear because Harry’s happiness is coming through the screen! Well done, also Happy Belated B-Day if this was aired post the date!
Enjoy enjoy your new car Harry, your enthusiasm is infectious. I Love the vlogs for the same reason. With all the cars you own and have access to it's fantastic that you still enjoy and get excited about the new arrival, the car is stunning. I had a smile on my face all the way through.
When Harry uploads a video, its like the smell of fresh coffee in the morning, you know its going to get you going.✌✌✌ You can see his excitement like a kid ready to open his Christmas gift; The beauty of being an adult, you buy yourself your Christmas gift.
What a brilliant handover chap, a consummate professional, a man who really loves his job 👏👏👏
As a metric European, I really am looking forward seeing the two and a half litre roadtrip😁
(I've never seen "miles" abbreviated like that😁)
There's nothing like picking up new car. From the factory even more special. I picked my Mercedes slc from Auckland main dealer and it was very special and they video the whole reveal and showing you around. Very special.
That is one beautiful little roadster! It's the best looking Lotus I've ever seen.
What a beautiful car that is. ❤
Lotus has gone through some tough times but I'm so happy they're still here and making this car. From the bottom of my heart this is my dream car. I'm a bit upset I'll never be the "one owner from new" if I ever get one I'll be a happy lad.
As a painter that's a great choice of colour and interior looks classy 👍
Stunning car, must be one of the most beautiful mid engine sports cars in recent years!
