- Hey guys, this video will show you how to transfer Viber messages from android to iPhone. You’ll be able to transfer all the Viber conversations from Android to iOS without jailbreaking your iPhone or rooting your Android device.
If you have recently switched from Android to iPhone, then you probably have already figured out that there is no official way to transfer Viber messages from Android to iOS. Your chat history connected to the platform that your phone uses, so you can’t transfer chat history between two different platforms. They are right because WhatsApp also works like this way. In this guide, I’ll show you how I transferred my Viber chat history to my iPhone with the help of a third-party tool - bit.ly/viber-android-to-ios

@@zafiredistributorsinc.5830If your computer is detecting your iPhone, then it doesn't really matter which type of cable you are using. When you connect your iPhone to your computer can you see it as a removable device along with your hard drives (c, d and e)?

Also tried restarting my Windows but unfortunately, the software Backuptrans still cannot detect the iPhone :(

I bought the program and everything is fine, the messages were transferred very quickly, but without the media (as described). I noticed two problems: 1. After the transfer, I can't sync with the computer. 2. When they send me a photo that was sent before (on android) I can't open it, it says that it's not stored long on Viber's servers

For some reason, it only copies 20 messages. Is there something I can do to get the rest of my messages?
It was free before but now developer made it a paid tool. So without paying $19 you can't transfer more than 20 messages.
It is so sad that I follow all your instructions and I saw the notifications that all my messages have been restored but when I open the Viber app, nothing happend :( I did many times again again and again and I felt so depressed. Maybe I made any mistakes that I do not know. :( So sad, the messages are very important to my mom :((

Sorry to hear about that. Hope before restoring messages from the database to your iPhone, you send a random message like "Hi" to someone in Viber friend list. If there are no messages on your iPhone before your restore them to your iPhone, then this type of thing happens that you mentioned in your comment.

Hi, your iPhone will restart/reboot, but it won't delete any data from your iPhone. Don't worry about that.

Will the iPhone after rebooting lose all my current settings (i.e., home screen apps placement, widgets, ringtone etc.)? @@nicks6776 Yes I did. I installed Viber on Iphone and when there was no chat history, I installed it back on Android and did recovery back up. Everything was there. So I am trying now over this app but it is not recognising my Android. Is it the only way to get my chats on Iphone?
@@aleksandraijacic5271 If there are Viber chats om your Android and you are also backing them to Drive, then you are doing everything correctly. I might try it again on my S21 Android and see if it is working or not. Unfortunately, that's the only way to transfer Viber from Android to iPhone.

Hi, sorry about that, it doesn't seem like an issue with the software because you have installed the official version of the Viber app from the App Store. This software can't control the features of Viber app such as notifications. Please try all the troubleshooting steps mentioned in this article help.viber.com/en/article/fix-notification-issues

But in case you have tocl contact the Viber support, don't tell them yourself you've transferred the chats from android to your iPhone, but if they say something about it and they confirm it happened due to the software use, then I will contact the developer right away on your behalf.

There's a notification already that 139k messages were successfully transferred to my Iphone, it's just that when I open my Viber App, still there's no messages, only the group names.

2. Login to your Viber account.
3. Connect iPhone to computer via USB cable.
4. Restore the Viber chats from backup to your iPhone again. Before restoring the chats close the Viber app on your iPhone. If you are not aware about to force close an app on iOS, you can check this tutorial.

Did you enable the USB Debugging on your Android phone before connecting it to your computer? If yes, then is it installing Viber Sync app on your phone?

Will this copy image?
Yes. It will transfer your images and other media files too.
I wouldn't say it does. There are placeholders for the images but no images. And the db only stores a fraction of the images, but loses access to them
Worked for me just now. It is super annoying to use (I had to transfer 1 contact at a time and every time the phone rebooted and asked me for my apple id password, without even letting me use 1password to fill it in), but it does work and the images are transferred.
@@AlJey007 Hi Eugene, it will transfer all the messages from all contacts, if you select the whole database backup instead of clicking on contact, and then click the "Transfer Messages from Database to iPhone" button.
There is no need to transfer messages one by one.
But for this function, you will need to use the full version which is paid.

Yes it does. Instructions/steps are bit different now. Follow the instructions mentioned in the article which is in description text and you'll be fine.

I googled and came across another application which is apptrans which seems cheaper. Do you know if that would work?

If you want, you can give it a try and in case it works let me know as well. Sorry, I don't know any other free or cheaper way to transfer Viber from Android to iOS.
