      Marvin Alain Jose Sinchioco same 🤦🏽‍♀️ you try not to mix to much so you don’t waste and end up running out then can’t make the exact color again

      If you need large quantities, just mix your own color and get the color matched at home depot. They sell 8 ounce jars for cheap. I used to work there and I also use their paints for jewelry, etc.

    First, thank you for creating the "How to blend" video, extra kudos for the added bonus of "skin tones mixing".
    Is hard for me to express my gratitude, because in these days of "big tech", simplicity seems like an extinguishing act. I also realize that your technique is not the only one available, but is a hell of a start.
    Thank You again...
    PS: Just so you know, artists are charging big bucks for this kind of info on Patreon.

    • @gabbywonka1
      @gabbywonka1  6 років тому +9

      No problem, it was my pleasure :) also... I have no idea what Patreon is XD what’s that

    • @MrPanatech
      @MrPanatech 6 років тому +7

      Patreon is platform where artists provide training and gifts in exchange for monthly support. Usually the support pledges range from $1 to $50 per month. What I see most artists do, is display their skills on a youtube channel, and also provide trailers of upcoming full length videos. At the end everyone benefits, the artists raises money to continue developing art, and the supporters learn techniques on the platform. Check it out.
      Good Luck,

    • @gabbywonka1
      @gabbywonka1  6 років тому +29

      thanks for all this info but I think I'll stick to UA-cam :) what i always liked about UA-cam was the fact that creators can still make money while the watchers don't actually have to pay. I think this is a really great platform but I'll still take note of Patreon in case i change my mind in the future.

    I just want to say thank you so much! I'm painting a portrait for a coworker/friend of mine who is going back home to Jamaica. I started using straight brown with white to make it lighter. the second i got it on the canvas i knew something was wrong. I went looking for vids to help me with skin tones and came across this one. In this short 10 min video I learned so much about mixing skin tones and thanks to u my gift came out so much better. Your video is very helpful to me. Although I've been painting for a long, long, time and do portraits professionally, I am a bit color blind and am always unsure about these things. I am working on one now and this video is a big help.

    Oh my god, thank you so muchhh. I just started doing a portrait for a 10 hour exam (Did 5, will have another 5 hours next week) of a Korean Idol and I literally couldn't get the skin tone right. But with this I'll practise the skin tones so I know exactly what to do during my next 5 hours :)

    This was the most useful sling tones video I have ever watch. Thank you so much, you have no idea how much you helped me! I need to do my first painting with a human being on it, I have no teacher no nothing, I'm stressed bc my background is so pretty and I don't want to mess everything up but you really helped me
    I know it sounds too much but you deserve the world
