Dude" i have Pretty much the exact same set up in a 4×4 osb. I know this is old video, but just in case someone you or someone else sees this. Not installed yet, but what i did was get a driver side turbo Manifold made out of stove pipe from a Company in australia. That way you can use hi tite power steering Alternator bracket, and hi mount ac. Not sure? if you would have the same room to get around for full length Exhaust pipe with an s10. Like i do with the obs. You could definitely run it out the offender or hood. Plus the hi tight power steering bracket, is not Solid like factory truck Bracket, so you can run turbo drain right to Timing cover with the 10an bungs welded in they sale.
I've watched alot of your videos and never realized you were in Michigan, me too, in around the flint area and also building a red single cab 6.0 4l80e truck lol
What oil pan did you use and did you cut the cross member? Also what motor mounts did you use. I am currently doing a 02 and my motor mounts are not aligning up and as tight as it is against the firewall, I do not think the trans (4L80E) will fit either? Your truck looks good!!!!
very, cool s10 you have there friend. Very clean installation. Perfectly rounded a nice stall converter and that baby will really launch. When you do the transmission over use the gill younger shift improver kit, and you'll get firmer crisp shifts that wont kill your drive train.and try a 102mm throttle body, and stay away from spectre aftermarket air cleaners they suck at least the one i had on my silverado did, it collapsed right out of the package.
its running good, you can hear it sucking air.i have a cammed 6.0 in a blazer and it runs like a dog and i got to thinking you dont hear it sucking in air like my s10 with a LT1 in it that i had long time ago, that was fast as hell.hmm i wonder if the throttle body is opening all the way or something,i installed a supercharger and im fixing to get it tuned so i need to check into this crap, its a dog i hate it,i liked my LT1 out of a camaro better,,that thing screamed with a manual.damn
Front has 2.5 inch spacers same bolt pattern, the rear I have a ford 8.8 axle redrilled to gm bolt pattern so the rears bolt right on no adapter needed. If you have a stock rear-end you will need spacers if I'm right
I went to oreillys and asked if I could check out their radiator hoses, I ended up buying a couple and splicing one to fit, and then I returned the ones I didn't use
Do you have the link to the headers? I need to replace mine on my LS swapped S-10 I bought the truck with the swap already. The drivers side header has a leak due to it being bent

@@BlackandWhitecustoms exhaust note low end torque and in some cases fuel economy. i get excellent fuel economy for a vehicle than can do the 1/4 in 11-12 sec.
Nice build! How well is your manual brakes working? I know raceworks says only for track use, but do u or would u b driving your s10 on the streets? Is it ideal? I’m having clearance issues with my build and was wondering if it’s worth getting the manual brake setup
Love the channel man check mine out on have a very similar build to yours but going turbo now. Just sold my 99 full-size that I built a budget turbo kit for check it out sometime. Subscribed!!!
Really? I've heard 4l80E's are usually pretty good, but the 4l60E's are the ones that have issues. Oddly enough though, I've had a car with a 4l60E for almost 10 years without any problems. I guess they aren't all junk.
@@shannon5231 its all perspective. The 4l60e is a decent transmission but not for high horsepower vehicles. Getting it rebuilt with upgraded clutches and corvette servo will extend the life of it. The 4l80 is also a good trans that can take alot of power and give you overdrive. The 400 is basically a 4l80 without overdrive
The 4L80 is a strong tranny, better suited for Daily drivers due to the overdrive on the freeways. TH400 is stout, but you'll be reving pretty high at highway speeds.
Funny you say this. The 4l80e is a th400 with electric overdrive my man very strong. However, the 4l60e is a 700r4 with electric overdrive which isn't a very strong tranny in stock form, 4l80e is far superior to a 4l60e.
Nice I'm planning on doing my own build that's why I'm looking up these kinda videos

I’m excited to see yours because my s10 has a 6.0 with a ss2 cam and c5z06 wheels
That's the cleanest fuel injection v8 s10 engine bay I've seen
I have a 98 and this is the exact build I wanna go for but stick, such a clean build.
Good luck! You won't regret it
Did y’all have to do any cutting for it to fit
Well done. thanks for sharing. I bet that thing flies
MAN THATS A NICE SETUP , FUN TO DRIVE
Luv it good job. I like the excitement in your voice and project
Looks good. Did you have to modify anything to drop in engine and trans.
I am about to start a similar project, where did you pull your 8.8 from? Which trucks/suvs are good doners for an 8.8? Thanks man, love the channel!

How did you get you corvette rims ( wheels ) to fit? Mine are 17 inch and they are hitting the steering rod and the upper control arm on my 91 sonoma

I have a circle d ordered already!!

what vehicle did the 8.8 come out of and what gears / azles are you running?
What kind of temps do you get with that 4.3 V6 Radiator on that 6.0
Normal temps! I have a 160* thermostat, and I rarely see 190* coolant temp
What back spacing did you use on those rims…?
How did u remove the brake pedal bro! Im also installing motionraceworks manual brakes! But im having a hard time to remove the brake pedal

nah paddle shifters
4L80 and never look back!
