I worked on the Brit Awards this year. She was the only performer that made all the backstage crews stop in their tracks and find a monitor to huddle round. These are people who are used to being around all sorts of performers, and yet they all just had to stop what they were doing and listen. Literally world class performance, and an absolute honour to be there listening live.

It is a shock to me that Adele's live performances sometimes sound better than the studio versions. But i think the secret to Adele, and not so secrete at all, is that the fact she writes her own songs allows her to manipulate each performance to whatever she wants... their is no expectation but her own, and that's precisely what she delivers. Adele you're truly amazing.

There are not many performers that can do what Adele does, to such high regard, standard and adoration while maintaining such humility. She isn’t a diva, she isn’t narcissistic and she isn’t overly obsessed with selling “the brand” and image even though she is so incredibly successful and beautiful. I just find her character so genuine and refreshing.

Adele's music is not my typical genre, but when I want music in this style there's no doubt she's a go-to. Her voice has such a depth and richness to it that can't be denied. And while it's impressive enough to hear the studio version.... it's so much more impressive to hear her perform live and hardly be able to tell the difference. The fact that she can sing this live with nearly no change in pitch is absolutely amazing. I dont think Ive seen any other performer achieve this. No voice enhancement bullshit just real talent and prowess.

But i think the secret to Adele, and not so secrete at all, is that the fact she writes her own songs allows her to manipulate each performance to whatever she wants... their is no expectation but her own, and that's precisely what she delivers. There are not many performers that can do what Adele does, to such high regard, standard and adoration while maintaining such humility. I just find her character so genuine and refreshing.
