I just replaced my alternator following these steps! Only issue I had was the part I got from O'Reilys was defect, the holes didn't line up for the top and bottom bolts. Just make sure it fits. Now putting everything back was a pain especially the bolt for the tensioner and putting back the belt. You might need someone to hold the tensioner while you put the belt back. After I was done everything was good! Thanks TRQ! I'm a pro now! LOL. P.S. If you have a "Check Charge System" displaying on your Accord make sure to check the battery, and alternator with a multimeter and battery sensor. My issue was the alternator. Message and Battery light is gone.
Thank you, your videos have been such a helpful way to navigate and precisely deal with my Honda Accords problem
Probably the best on UA-cam
It was very helpful! thank you. I only wish I would I have known the exact list of tools and necessary before starting as well as some notes on the difficult parts. Thanks for your work!

I broke an Allen wrench trying to take off that tensioner 😅 it's worth it to get the 8mm hex socket for sure
Saved a life here. Thank you!
This was so detailed and helpful thank you so much for posting this video!
This is not the same as 3.5 v6 engine. Can you guys do a video on it? There’s zero videos on yt for a 3.5 v6 2014 accord
14mm to loosen belt tensioner but a 17mm to reinstall belt??
Great video. Thanks!
thank super easy 🙌
Great video!
Very informative thank you
Thank you may you be blessed by the Lord Jesus Christ in all your ways me he make his face shine upon you and be gracious to you. In Jesus name I pray amen ❤🙏✨
8mm Allen tensioner bolt torque?
hey, can anyone explain what can i do now, actually I broke the 12 m bottom bolt while tightening it ,broken piece still in the mounting bracket in a car ,i don’t know what to do now !!
I really wished a qualification of a design engineer is that you have to be a mechanic for 5 years 1st. There is no reason why car manufactures make some of this stuff so hard to do.
I also like how you don't use your electric ratchet to brake torque.
Excellent, thank you!!
The only problem I’m having is using that 8 MM socket. It doesnt fit?
17 mm tentioner
THANK FOR A GREAT VID 👍 👌
