      It was funny, Marian. Every night the raccoons would enjoy their buffet, and every morning the rangers would come clean up the mess. It would be so easy to solve with a critter-proof dumpster.

      For a non-resident of NM you have to be planning on sufficient days in NM State Parks to make it worthwhile, but if you're spending a month total in NM State Parks it can save quite a bit of money.

  • @KJRitch
    @KJRitch 4 роки тому +1

    We were there last April and got our non resident pass. Weather was nice and warm. The campground has mostly first come first served but there are some reservable. Campground filled up every evening so get there early for first come first served sites. Water and electric was $4 with pass. I road my bike to the bike trail but hiked that trail the rode back to the campground.

    • @GrandAdventure
      @GrandAdventure  4 роки тому

      If you're goingto spend more than a few weeks each year in NM State Parks, the non-resident pass then makes sense. Glad you enjoyed your time there.
