I never understood why the directors absolutely wanted Talia to be in a relationship. I like Kyle but I've to admit that he doesn't add anything to the story... I mean, we don't know anything about him, about his life, he has no real development (except chasing a girl who rejects him and the fact that he likes robots.) he's just there to be Talia's boyfriend as if it were impossible in life to be single. We see him only in TWO episodes ! I would like if they gave Talia the option of remaining single rather than making the younger people watching believe that being in a relationship is obligatory. That's NOT everyone's life purpose !

This relationship makes no sense to me and it fells like it was forced. Talia doesn't need a boyfriend because what's the point (for him to follow her like a dog?)? I realize that this is a cartoon (mainly) for girls, but what's the point in forcing the characters into an unnecessary relationship? Talia is smart and the boy will only limit her.

That's such a narrow minded view about relationships. By your logic she shouldn't have friends either because they are only going to "limit" her. Kyle made Talia a more fun and interesting character because if her only character trait was being "smart" then she would be just way too one dimensional.

it was kinda forced since kyle didn’t make many recurring appearances, but seeing talia with an outside character she showed different feelings for than just her tolerance of humans and fondness for her friends added to her character. did it do anything for her personally or the plot? no. but it was cute to see

I have no problem with this relationship. I even find it adorable. But Kyle really needs more presence in the series. He doesn't have to be as recurring as Nathaniel, but he needs more appearances.
