We all are his treasure. His purpose I need. My knees are bent and my tongue confesses Jesus Christ you are my Lord. God bless Father Meeks. I will keep him in my heart.
I so weary of hearing Protestant pastors frequently mentioning this matter. More times than not I know it's a slam on Catholic so called belief. Wish they'd all listen to this. This right here is the TRUTH of our belief. Father always knows how, by using scripture to back it up, make sense of it all. ❤
I have met Mother Teresa whom he says had an effect on Hindu India. Like Mother Teresa, I visit churches of other religions as Catholic Churches are closing.
This Reformed baptist was astounded at this father's message. Works are the fruit, not the root, of salvation? Did I just hear that from a Catholic priest? That was an excellent exposition of Ephesians 2:8-10! He went on to undo his main point when talking about 1 Cor. 3, bringing up purgatory. How could we already have redemption and also have to pay for sin in purgatory? Nevertheless, excellent message.

I believe it used to read, "....by works "OF THE LAW"."

Martin Luther removed, "and by works of the law".
