Wow, I'm impressed, and I'm sure Dvorak would be too! Actually, this is the first time I've listened to a MIDI version of a classical piece. Surely this was a massive undertaking to put all this together. I happen to know this symphony very well, having played it in an orchestra on a real violin! The timing, dynamics, tone, expression have all come out super well. Just the cymbals in the last movement were a bit 'over-expressed'.

Haha! I happen to agree about the cymbal crash -- it's notoriously out of place. Believe it or not, that is "as written": in the autograph score and in the latest edited publication, it's mezzo-forte, and I made a personal commitment to try and execute on these pieces as the composer intended. I used to be a conducting student many years ago, and when studying this piece I questioned the crash to my teacher who replied, "You're the conductor, not the composer. Interpret, but don't change the work." So, I've left it in. I've heard many performances without the crash there at all, and some with it even more prominent -- almost like a solo! I just decided to go with the score, and let the audience draw their own conclusions.
Thanks for much for your considerate words, and I appreciate the support! Please feel free to come back for more! 🙂
