I'm looking everywhere for a "Make your own" video on making DIY trampolines for a Hobie Adventure Island sail kayak.
I really love your format and simple instructions.
Wish you had an AI trampoline video.
I've been told that the problem with the stock trampolines is they stretch a little bit and the straps at full tension no longer tighten the trampoline.
I want to make mine about 3" shorter than the originals.

I did a Sailrite sail kit for a one-design class a number of years ago. It went together easily and looks great.
It wasn't up to what the current class rules allow, so it wasn't suitable for racing. But it was still a fun project.

Thank you it took awhile to make my sails but they turned out beautifully. The HD singer on sale was $120. But it's now worn out. Sounds like a box of rocks. Wish I would have bought a sailright sewing machine. Next time I make sails I will for sure.

Plastic ?
Sails are not made from plastic they are made from Dacron. Dacron or terylene (a polyester) is formed by the condensation polymerization of ethylene glycol and terephthalic acid with the elimination of water molecule. It is fun to learn about the nature of things, thanks for bring it up! Did you know that most man made items are made or engineered using oil, even plastic. Even the clothing you are wearing is made from some portions of petroleum.
