This was a great tutorial. I’ve seen some tic tokers make stickers- print them and do a kiss cut and then re feed the sticker paper and go back and cut out the offset so each sticker is an individual sticker they can sell. Can you make a video on how to do that?
I did it for the very first time! except I forgot to change the offset color to white, it was black during the print but still loved the effect in the cut, no more waste of ink and paper now...thanks again for the tutorial.
Flatten.... that is what i was missing..... i was using attach to get me offset to the image and then manually moving them. thank you so much for the tips, it definitely took away some of my frustrations.

This is exactly what I’m trying to accomplish- a sticker that provides a small offset “contoured” border around an image rather than being stuck with a boring basic shape. The problem- I can only mange to get the offset to work on text, not on images. Are there constraints/limits to the images used? Trying to figure out what I’m doing wrong. Thank you
I’ve done it on tons and tons of images however at this time design space is having issues with the offset feature. Cricut is aware and are working on it

Thank you for this amazing tutorial!! I'm trying to follow the steps in your video, but my printer keeps messing up! It keeps printing the bottom of the image at the top of the page. Do you have any advice on how to fix this? Or a recommendation for a good printer and good sticker paper? My printer is an HP officejet 5255 and the sticker paper I have is A-sub glossy vinyl sticker paper (it is supposed to work with inkjet printers; it says that on the packaging). On top of this issue, after printing on this paper, the ink is still messy and rubbing off after sitting out overnight. Any help or advice would be much appreciated!!!

If you don’t want it to cut through you’ll need to test different settings all sticker paper is different just do small squares until you find one that doesn’t cut through
Thank you so much for this video! It really helped me get closer to finishing my project. One thing I noticed is when you hit "make it" it went right to make it window. I get a yellow bar across of design space that says 'whoa, that's a big project! This may take a while!" Finally after 5 minutes or so, I get to the part where it sorts the project onto mats. It should only be 1 mat but I still get another, "wow! Big project..." message and it takes another 5 minutes, maybe longer, to load the project!! Has this ever happened to you? I'm wondering if my poor old computer is just too full and slow to handle this? Thank you!
This has been happening to a lot of people with print then cut the last few days. I believe it’s a flaw in the software. You can send cricut feedback about the issue so they can start working on it
Hi Corinne! I was going to purchase the Starcraft matte printable vinyl then saw they have glossy. I have had problems in the past with my Explorer 2 not seeing the lines on glossy print then cut projects. Have you used the glossy Starcraft to make glossy stickers without any issues with the Cricut?
the printable vinyl is matte. The glossy you are seeing is the laminate that you can put over your stickers. I never have problems with my machine reading anything glossy because I don't put the laminate over the lines for the registration box.

@@prjayunv it might just be a glitch with design space. It’s literally one of the worst programs out there. Try saving the project then logging out and back in. Did you try printing it?

How would this look for transparent sticker making is it possible to make the offset border transparent (not the white border like on the princess stickers)

I’m not Corinne by any means lmao BUT I like the Avery self laminating adhesive paper HOWEVER you need to cut it to fit inside the registration lines and put it on before cutting.
I use the uv laminate from Starcraft or you can use clear vinyl as well. You will want to put it on before you cut your stickers and cut them on a heavier cut setting

Hello! I know that you showed that with the offset you kept the bleed on, but if I add the offset, do you think it should be fine keeping the bleed off? Does the offset work like a bleed?
You can keep it off it’s more for items with color right on the edge of the sticker but my cricut hates print then cut so I just leave it on all the time

My cricut is cutting offset wrong. I put an offset around a flower and it's cutting part of the flower off at the top and leaving extra at the bottom of the flower. Is the offset too small maybe? Any ideas? Thanks for your video.
@@lindabradford9591 if it’s still not working make sure nothing is grouped before you flatten it. That used to cause issues. It hasn’t in awhile but who knows with new updates we get new exciting issues

If you don’t want an offset you don’t need one. It’s important to note the cricut will however cut any areas that are transparent so be sure your image is a solid image. You don’t need to attach of flatten anything if you are just using images

@@CorinneBlackstone I uploaded the image, created offset, grouped & then hit flatten. I also did it the other way where I uploaded the image, created the offset, selected both offset and image and hit flatten. Every time I get to the print part it just shows my black offset, or the image not properly on the offset. It's driving me crazy!
@@thekfsdshop572 ok you are having the lovely glitch then from design space. Usually it won’t print the way it shows on the screen but if you keep having the issue you’ll need to contact cricut. Their updates almost always cause some new issue

Well you won’t see the offset regardless of the color paper you use if it’s white. There is no such thing as white ink. Try changing the offset to black. Make sure it’s .25 or thicker then flatten it to the image and try again. The offset feature is still in testing phases so it has glitches. If it’s still not working when it’s black you’ll need to contact cricut with the issue as it’s likely a glitch with the feature

Ups usually tend to have more problems pulling heavier paper I recommend a rear feed epson printer

Make sure you have everything set to print then cut. Sometimes if you don’t it gets all weird.

It works with all the Cricut machines but you have to use the desktop software and not the app.

just use a heavier pressure setting. Cutting this on medium cardstock twice would cut through

That’s a strange one. Maybe try making sure the offset is basic cut then try changing the color and then flattening it?

When I try to offset a PNG upload it won’t let me “accept” it just loads the whole time. Do you have any advice?
Clear your cache and sometimes it’s just crazy slow so walk away and come back later

@@bresaenz you won’t have that on the app. The app is super limiting so it doesn’t offer many of the things the desktop offers

Possibly not flattening the offset. You need to be sure you have flattened them to keep them together

The offset feature is not working for everyone. It’s just a cricut thing. I would reach out to them directly

Yes but it’s important to teach skills like this so people are not fully reliant on cricut.

You wouldn’t want to make the design in cricut design space. Use Inkscape. I have videos showing how to do all of it in there
