Our final leg for the day, so why not a throwback to a time before quality payware? Back when FSX was in its infancy and add-ons were slowly making their way onto the market, JustFlight dropped a freeware Boeing 757 which was for many the first 'detailed' aircraft they flew. While maybe not quite to today's standard, I remember having tons of fun flying this 10 years ago, so on what may be my last ever FSX video on this channel, why not take a look back at engulfing myself in the flight simulator of before.

This was my first "serious" aircraft! I even bought the Just Flight livery packs and flew it for hours. I later got the Qualitywings version of the 757 which is one of my favourite aircraft ever in any sim. They can't hold a candle to what's available today in terms of complexity, but they provided the most fun I've ever had in a flight sim.
Oh trust me, while this video was only to recreate a flight I did IRL, going back to FSX and playing with the aircraft I started with back in the day was quite the journey! We've certainly come a long way since. ✈️
FSX was my first sim in 2020, I had a passion for aviation before then but then I got FSX cause it was 7 bucks and with my Nintendo controller i fell in love with simming, took me 2 years to upgade to xplane, I still don't use msfs i just dont like it (i had it with pc game pass)

I hope to, yes! I fly out tomorrow evening and have a 24-hour layover before returning home. A rushed stay perhaps, but plenty time to see the main sights!

I thought I’d try this throw back as well, I regret it. Firstly it took me 4 hours to get the TDS 757 to work. After that I thought Leeds to Ibiza would be nice in the jet2 holidays livery. After clicking into different apps about 3-4 time it ALWAYS crashes. After 2 crashes I was in the air! Couldn’t work LNAV….. after getting that to work I realised how SLOW the auto throttle was to respond on landing. stalled 2 times on approach into Ibiza. The rudder is to sharp when turning and finally you have to put the throttle at at least 50% to get a small bit of power. Don’t get me wrong I love fsx but enough is enough.
Very odd, I experienced no issues with this aircraft when flying this route! Perhaps you had something configured incorrectly?

Yep! That's the aim of a première, which when timed right and providing accurate runways can come off really well!
What kind of mouse are you using can u Dampen the Wheel movement on it

It's an old Dell XN966. Lovely mouse, hasn't failed me since 2008! I can always try move my microphone away from it.
