When we were on the Ilse de Magdalene 2019 I think, we caught the tail end of hurricane Dorian and had 160+ winds. Hydro pole down in the camp. Our chocks blew away and trailer shifted! ‘‘Twas scared but we survived. We use X chocks now.
Wow, that would definitely be scary! We've been looking for x-chocks that will fit our wide-set tires, but haven't had much luck so far. Tell us more about the Ilse de Magdalene. Do you have a blog post about them you can share?
haha... provisions, AKA, "mostly pringles" lol We actually used eternabond tape to tape all the way around the perimeter of the roof 3 years or so ago and I lined the edges with dicor... I haven't had to redo anything so far. I'm not sure if the dicor helped but it still even looks good... Checking the seals is a lot easier now... lol The sky is falling!!
Another great video, we survived the windstorm too. We are going to make sure we go to the mexican resturant before we head out of here, thanks for the recommendation. We stopped out at Martha's as well, but did not get a chance to take the tour just enjoyed the date shakes.
If you do anything in Yuma try the Mexican restaurant 😋 We really enjoyed it and the servers were really nice. Date shakes are amazing! Another date treat that we would recommend are the stuffed chocolate covered dates from Imperial Date farms - like eating a chocolate bar!
Those coyotes were active 😳. Nice of your neighbor to inform you of the windstorm. Beautiful views. Who doesn’t need pringles 😂. Great tips of the roof maintenance Great video guys 👍🏿

Yeah that eternabond is great stuff. Pringles are important provisions to survive any storm 😆

Love dates! And murals......and Mexican food lol. Great video guys.
Are those murals beautiful? The Mexican food was so amazing! We'll likely have to go back for seconds 😆

Yeah those coyotes meant business! They carried on for a while, too.
South West USA is so damn beautiful. Where (which states) are you guys going later?
Yeah the SW is amazing. So much to see and do here that we could stay all season 😁
