If I had a nickel for every time a geeky TV protagonist defended the world by listening to Tom Sawyer while playing an old school video game, I'd have two* nickels. Which isn't a lot, but weird that it not only happened twice, but that it was so awesome both times. *The other time is Fry on Futurama
New Assistant Manager, "Emmett Milbarge" from yes, you "real" pop-culture OGs guessed it...."Spies Like Us". RUSH and Missle Command in one episode and all these PCRs.... Chuck just got a new appreciation point in my book.
As a proud citizen of Buymoria - I approve of this video Just leanin' 'gainst a lamppost & waitin' on the MOVIE.... "Not as deceiving as a low down, dirty... deceiver"
Nope, i still playing it daily like a vitamin, realizing it's one of the underrated classics of all time; no two games are alike everytime you play ( SNES version ).
This might blow your mind, but I would put both The Wire and Chuck on my short list of all-time favorites shows. Completely different but both uniquely awesome. And that's with my acknowledgement that Chuck wasn't always as consistently executed as it could/should have been. The Wire was pretty much flawless in writing and execution. But the uniqueness of Chuck and the cast chemistry was very engaging which helped one to overlook its occasional flaws.
50 years of television led up to this moment. This episode was the ultimate achievement of what tv was created for.
Only Chuck could pull off something so ridiculous as this. Classic scene.
When Jeff congratulates him, I really wanted Jeff to say, "All these years and I still wonder what OZPGSB is supposed to mean."
This scene is the ultimate fulfillment of the medium of television.
So many epic moments in Chuck!
Music of the universe
2024 and I came back just for this.
Same dude, same.
RIP Neal Peart. Best Chuck episode.

Why does EVERYTHING about video games need to have “Tom Sawyer”?
Because Tom Sawyer is awesome
Nostalgia
Ali Fareed M.C. no. Any song from … a time, … as long as it meets the aforementioned awesome and nostalgia definitions, would work. No 🤔?
