Back in the day when I was in my early teens (late 70's and early 80's), we would do deer drives on the last day of the season. We all had only 1 tag for the season. The last day was buck or doe. We usually had 10 to 15 hunters total. The older hunters were shooters/blockers while we kids were the "deer dogs". We were careful with our number of tags vs. deer killed. On the last drive of the day, the older hunters would drive for the young guns (and we were pretty much whooped by then after doing drives in the VA mountains ALL day!). At the end of the day, all the tagged deer were taken to the check-in station. The next day, the deer were processed and all hunters involved in the drive were given their portion of the venison. No one went home empty handed. Good times. I miss those days.
Just filled my tag this morning! Awesome video
Thank you
Oh man! You bush wacked that last one. And you didn't waist any time either. Well done.
