I've been avoiding demo content to wait for the full release but good god man the fact that you've made hours of content off the demo alone is a good sign haha.
One weapon type runs sound like they could be a lot of fun in the full game! I'm considering trying out a no back row challenge, so units can only be up to 3 characters and they can only be placed in the front row. I'm super interested to see what sort of strategies it leads to as melee attacks become much more dangerous when they can directly target your squishier units.
They have been, the routing is dang fun to puzzle out. Also you find fun combos like the fire bow, priority item, that shackle, and the explodey fire staff.
Love the idea of both challenge runs and speed runs in the full game release! Along with what looks to be PvP content, this game is shaping up to actually be my game of the year. :)
I love seeing newbie gear get loved. Also the crossbow, though everyone loves it now. I was a crossbow nut when it first launched, got friggin bullied for using one in it's launch state. RS could turn toxic so quick sometimes. I just want my cool pew pew thing ..
I thought of having a coin flip run where everytime you have a choice to recruit a unit you flip a coin and let it decide if you can recruit that unit or not and you can't recruit mercenaries so every run gives you a different set of units.
Advanced skill 1. Group up and just attack every unit 1 by 1. Advanced skill 2. Surround them and then bounce them off each other into immediate fights.
I think in this first example, the spear dudes would've long thrusted thru your tank and killed your cavalry unit who was at 9 HP so the forecast showed them never getting to attack until you moved them out of the same colomun. But I do know there are ways to reroll RNG since the forecast already knows who will dodge and things like that. You can reroll RNG by toggling assists so it stands to reason you may also be able to reroll RNG by changing things like formation position or maybe even gear
Exactly, it feels like a more official version of the "Chess Rule" from Tactics Ogre PSP, mixed with some perfect information. Feels great to have these little micro puzzles.
so just so we are clear, I have zero stamama, I move that unit into another unit who is in the attack wait back state, and I still get the free attack?

I'm already planning a 6th playthrough, it's so friggin good.
The worst part of the game is the card game you can't play because you'll be playing this. That and they are all sold out.
