THAT double move was special, but what stood out for me as well was after he took the lead with just over 10 to go, by the time he started the last lap he was 10 seconds clear. That's 1 second PER lap. In spec cars.
Why do people think lewis didn't have to work for the McLaren spot , as the cometary states there all equal powered cars and lewis shows his skills in this and his carting career.
They go on about the film we see of him as a karter doing RC stuff for Blue Peter(?) - a kids programme - saying he had Ron Dennis' number, so he was in from the off. As if that would even get him a guaranteed tour of the McLaren factory on an open day! Either he or his dad had been smart enough to talk to Dennis when they had the opportunity, and I'm pretty certain Dennis saw something in him. But he wasn't the only young driver with some level of F1 team support throughout his junior years, and we only have to look at the number of young, successful drivers, who never get past the "test driver" position in F1. Lewis bloody *earned* that seat, especially given how young he was, and how conservative (in personality, I'm not being political!) Dennis is notorious for being. If he'd had any doubt whatsoever, we could have lost out on yet another potential legend (how many end up with the "wrong" team backing them? Red Bull for example). And before anyone says anything negative, I'm just about legally old enough to be his mum, I'm no "fanboi". I just appreciate talent when I see it. The next couple of years with Max should be fun!

Nope most people are complaining because he is the best driver in the best car. We all know Lewis and Mercedes are gonna win the championship and its boring.
He is undoubtedly very good but his car advantage blows his standing right out of proportion with so many fanboys thinking that having 6 WDC's means he is the best driver on the grid bar none, not realising that if he was in a midfield car he wouldnt be winning any.
