Soniccouture makes some amazing libraries with extreme detail. This is a well earned video to highlight what a great job they do. They have some unique instruments you're not otherwise finding.
Had the chance to pick up my first SC libraries when they were first featured as a bundle in the NKS partners promo, since then have been buying several new ones during each big sale, really love the Attic II, the Canterbury Suitcase, and Electro-Acoustic, the many other more niche instruments are great, but do not see as frequent use in my productions.
I have the Pan Drums quite a while now, but I've never really figured out how to play it on the Maschine. The mapping is really not intuitive at all. For me it doesn't make sense to play a hang drum chromatically on a keyboard. Help is much appreciated. Oh and I've bought that because NI had advertised the soniccouture products to be NKS ready. If NKS just means to browse presets than I was wrong, thinking it'd also easy to map to the Maschine series.
New kids are coming and older can choose, new kids will take what's on the market the older know for older and newer stuff... that's it but music and creativity is most important
Differen V.I. companies obviously have different areas of expertise. Embertone make the best legato solo instruments, sonokinetic makes the best easy-to-use orchestration phrase packs, for legatp solo woodwinds, nobody beats 8Dio's claire series, Impact Soundworks make the best virtual guitars, and so on. Apparently, Soniccouture make the best mallets. Just go shop with specialised websites for specific needs. Don't go to one for all sorts of v.i.. Even the most prestigious ones like Spitfire or Orchestral Tools sell a lot of absolute crap.
