First of all sapphira did not wear blue on the runway more than nymphia wearing yellow thats literally a fact lol. Second its not just the runways, she wore yellow multiple times in different challenges and mini challenges, she mentioned yellow and bananas in like more than half of her confessions; i just dont see how people think other people are crazy for noticing the amount of times nymphia associates herself with it lmfao thats just my opinion
And we've seen people claim a colour before and it seems like they just pick and choose a time to be upset because it isn't consistent (Ra'jah (Purple), Lemon(Yellow), Lawrence (Purple), Max (Grey, but i guess just the hair), Blu (Blue), Trixie (Pink (usually with blonde), Denim (Blue)
As a newer fan it feels like the franchise has been rejuvinated with this season, like it feels like we are watching herstory of what ppl r gonna look back on as EXCELLENCE

I can't believe that this season is over. Thank you for Plane Jane for making this season better and for Sapphira and Nymphia making it very competitive. Thank you also for Megami and Morphine for doing that great lipsync.
My feelings said sapphira probably won't return to all stars, just bc she doesn't really have anything to prove, she did well in every challenges even the makeover one was just bc she didn't have another outift that were comfortable to move in, but who knows
same, as soon as i saw the balloons come out i was like “okay, we're done here” lol. but I also feel like production doesn't want the winner to be that predictable before the finale airs and since people everywhere were saying “i want so and so to win, but ik it'll be saphira”. also i don't think we've had 2 winners in a row of the same “type”, i.e. both saphira and sasha colby are very mother like. all of this is not to undermine anyone's performance, both nymphia and saphira had great runs on the show and it really came down to the lipsync. i also love how the crutiques about nymphia wearing yellow ended in her wearing it when she won!

Honestly if I was Sapphira I wouldn’t come back for an All Stars. Like you said I feel like we saw all facets of her. She had such a fully fleshed out storyline what more could she show. If/when she returns I fear it’ll be a repeat of All Stars 5.
I don’t know I feel like Sapphira could make good tv especially if she took the opportunity to let her hair down as one critique you could give her is that she is perfect to a fault and doesn’t take risks

The execution of Bathroom Hunties was really bizarre, but my interpretation of the spirit of the challenge was to call attention to all the anti-trans bathroom bills that have been making the rounds through conservative politics lately.

I agree. Sapphira had the charisma of a winner now; she connected effortlessly with everyone, including the judges. Imo Nymphia still had space to grow as a person, so seeing her progression in a couple years on all stars would've been more fulfilling storytelling for me.

as a reality tv junkie, i LOVE reunions because they're always very emotionally driven since they're shot towards the middle of a season airing, and they usually involve cast members binging multiple episodes in a short amount of time. imo i think this was production's attempt of trying to combat the toxicity in the fandom, but I'm not sure if this was 1000% the right way to go. It was very positive, which I loved, but at the same time, I would have loved to hear the queens' reflections on the season

This was my favorite of the double digit seasons by far because of this amazing cast. Nearly all of them weren't afraid to go there and bicker and argue and throw shade, and it started to feel like a "return to form" back before the contestants were afraid of crowd reactions. More than one design challenge was also a huge plus for me personally, and it felt like Ru was actually having a lot of fun this season and gave some good attention to more than just one person. Hopefully Season 17 keeps heading in this direction!

And even the early out queens made an impression. They weren't filler queens at all, they just had a bad day, and suffered the consequences. I won't be surprised when I see Hershii, Mirage, Amanda and Plasma on a future All-Stars season.

Wait, how is the criticism of Plane that she was manufacturing? MIB did that 2 no end last season so I could not care about the conflicts she put herself in. Plane is oddly a well-rounded villain which gives her the depth that I adore in reality tv villains. Plane is just as messed up as everybody else; MIB’s just annoying.
s16 was such a breath of fresh air! great cast and fun challenges. i wish the rate-a-queen system stayed for a bit longer. the immunity potions were pretty useless. LOVEDDDD how they did this lalaparuza and really wish we had a reunion. i personally liked the format for the finale!! the smaller venue meant we could see more reactions of the judges, queens, family members which was fun.
the lipsync lalaparooza ( k know is spelt that wrong) was actually really great, we definately got to see more of the eliminated queens. Season 16 was great~
the lip sync tournament was so much better than the reunion tbh. as casts get bigger there’s just not enough time for everyone to get a fair amount of time, and it’s better to give the eliminated queens a final send off.
This was the strongest cast in a while! Also, glad to see that the girls showed a lot of raw, human emotions (Mirage's on her elimination, Q's frustration, etc.) and were unapologetic about it, unlike somes other seasons where it felt more like Disney Channel's Drag Race, where everyone is happy for everyone all the time. Loved this season!
I understand how many don't like the promo theme, but I absolutely loved it. I love how different it is compared to others. The darker colors and the war theme with the TV aesthetic... idk I'm just obsessed with it
i think this season goes down as the top 3 in drag race herstory. just outside the top 3 you had two queens who won two challenges each (plasma and q). The finale was comprised of 3 queens each with at least 3 wins under their belt and only 2 LSFYL's between the three. The winner only had to lip sync once and that was for the crown. THe winner herself had the best runway package start to finish of any queen in the modern era, and the final two was truly the battle of the heavyweights.
For the first time in a long while, I'm actually sad to see this season end. By the end of the finale, all i could think was "Wait, how am I supposed to not see them next week?". All the cast had something memorable or endearing about them and now i feel like i miss them already. WoW really struck gold with these queens and also recaptured some of the essence of the Golden Era of Drag Race. These girls created the best season since S6 and AS2 and they should be proud of that. Our 16th winner is so deserving of her crown, I can't wait to see her reign unfold.
this season brought me back to drag race, the last time i was a fan was in 2019 then i slowly forgot about it and i think it’s the same for a lot of people
I actually loved the promo, I thought it was different and was giving 90’s analog TV which was kinda cool. It also set the tone to what seems to be one of the best seasons.
I really wish sapphira won she really dominated the season and had more of a story to her. This feels like shea coulee all over again. Like there’s nothing that she could have really did different
Nymp did amazing to in fact she had more wins and placement than Sasha , second of all why would you discredit nymp story ? With that being said, Nymphia had the weakest track record and storyline of the three. She did kill the last performence, but Sapphira didn’t slouch either. By all means, it really felt like Sapphira was the most objective choice here. But congrats to Nymphia nonetheless she fought for that.

I was happy to have such a good season again. Dont get me wrong - i loved season 14 and 15 as well but this season reminded me a bit of the older seasons. You had personal storylines, not just some cheap knock off stories and learned a lot about the queens. But this was Plane Janes season. Even the first minutes of your video where fully devoted to Plane and i think that Plane made the season the way it is. Interestingly, Planes way of being blunt reminded me a lot of the early seasons, where queens did not bite their tongue out of fear from the "franchise" and the "fans" (bullies and so on) - lets think back to Mrs. Gemini, Roxxy, Jaremi, Bianca and many others. The big shift, i think, came with season 12.
one thing that this season has made me realise is that the streaming service drag race is on in Australia always spoils the winner in the preview pic like the ones I remember are Jimbo, Nymphia, Tia, Sasha and Willow and im wondering if anyone else has noticed tbh
The finale really just cemented this season as one of the greats. The winner left no room to argue why she deserved the crown and it instantly became one of my favorite lipsyncs
They should use this stage from now on for normal episodes and go back to the grand theatre for the finale. It looked like there were no previous seasons queens in the audience......and there were less audiences in the crowd.

Plane is oddly a well-rounded villain which gives her the depth that I adore in reality tv villains. Plane is just as messed up as everybody else; MIB’s just annoying.

s16 was such a breath of fresh air! great cast and fun challenges. i wish the rate-a-queen system stayed for a bit longer. the immunity potions were pretty useless.
LOVEDDDD how they did this lalaparuza and really wish we had a reunion. i personally liked the format for the finale!! the smaller venue meant we could see more reactions of the judges, queens, family members which was fun.
the lipsync lalaparooza ( k know is spelt that wrong) was actually really great, we definately got to see more of the eliminated queens. Season 16 was great~
the lip sync tournament was so much better than the reunion tbh. as casts get bigger there’s just not enough time for everyone to get a fair amount of time, and it’s better to give the eliminated queens a final send off.
Definitely agree on the confusion why they haven't posted out the 3 songs from the girls group challenge, they would be a bop on Spotify for sure
This was the strongest cast in a while! Also, glad to see that the girls showed a lot of raw, human emotions (Mirage's on her elimination, Q's frustration, etc.) and were unapologetic about it, unlike somes other seasons where it felt more like Disney Channel's Drag Race, where everyone is happy for everyone all the time. Loved this season!

I understand how many don't like the promo theme, but I absolutely loved it. I love how different it is compared to others. The darker colors and the war theme with the TV aesthetic... idk I'm just obsessed with it

i think this season goes down as the top 3 in drag race herstory.
just outside the top 3 you had two queens who won two challenges each (plasma and q). The finale was comprised of 3 queens each with at least 3 wins under their belt and only 2 LSFYL's between the three. The winner only had to lip sync once and that was for the crown. THe winner herself had the best runway package start to finish of any queen in the modern era, and the final two was truly the battle of the heavyweights.
This season was Sapphira Nymphia Plane Jane’s Titans battle. All 3 could have won this season if they had filmed this live.

For the first time in a long while, I'm actually sad to see this season end. By the end of the finale, all i could think was "Wait, how am I supposed to not see them next week?".
All the cast had something memorable or endearing about them and now i feel like i miss them already. WoW really struck gold with these queens and also recaptured some of the essence of the Golden Era of Drag Race.
These girls created the best season since S6 and AS2 and they should be proud of that. Our 16th winner is so deserving of her crown, I can't wait to see her reign unfold.

this season brought me back to drag race, the last time i was a fan was in 2019 then i slowly forgot about it and i think it’s the same for a lot of people

I think the bathroom challenge was because with all the talk about bathrooms in the real world and trans people etc it was good to have a nod at that
I actually loved the promo, I thought it was different and was giving 90’s analog TV which was kinda cool. It also set the tone to what seems to be one of the best seasons.

I really wish sapphira won she really dominated the season and had more of a story to her. This feels like shea coulee all over again. Like there’s nothing that she could have really did different
Nymp did amazing to in fact she had more wins and placement than Sasha , second of all why would you discredit nymp story ? She’s the first south East Asian to win , have a great story and is a fresh character and winner type on rpdr, a sapphira didn’t have no “ more story “ than nymp we seen a lot of winners like her just say you don’t want and Asian and rather see a black queen won and that it’s a race thing and move on

Nymphia has an amazing drag style I just think compared to sapphiras polish I think nymphia needs more time but I’m happy she won overall and I’m happy for diversity but I do think this was sapphiras crown to lose. She showed more in the show when it came to drag nymphia had hella looks but really lacked a depth to her beyond the runway.
@@J.SantinoAgreed. Being mixed myself, I love when wins are spread amongst different cultures. We all have various talents and packages worthy of showing the world.
With that being said, Nymphia had the weakest track record and storyline of the three. She did kill the last performence, but Sapphira didn’t slouch either. By all means, it really felt like Sapphira was the most objective choice here. But congrats to Nymphia nonetheless she fought for that.
Everyone talking about Sapphira doing All Stars or not while I'm here waiting for Plane Jane to return; now that's gonna be some good television when it happens.

I was happy to have such a good season again. Dont get me wrong - i loved season 14 and 15 as well but this season reminded me a bit of the older seasons. You had personal storylines, not just some cheap knock off stories and learned a lot about the queens. But this was Plane Janes season. Even the first minutes of your video where fully devoted to Plane and i think that Plane made the season the way it is. Interestingly, Planes way of being blunt reminded me a lot of the early seasons, where queens did not bite their tongue out of fear from the "franchise" and the "fans" (bullies and so on) - lets think back to Mrs. Gemini, Roxxy, Jaremi, Bianca and many others. The big shift, i think, came with season 12.
I kinda like the bathroom challenge cause its just a fun nod to gay history as bathrooms were big cruising spots
one thing that this season has made me realise is that the streaming service drag race is on in Australia always spoils the winner in the preview pic like the ones I remember are Jimbo, Nymphia, Tia, Sasha and Willow and im wondering if anyone else has noticed tbh

The finale really just cemented this season as one of the greats. The winner left no room to argue why she deserved the crown and it instantly became one of my favorite lipsyncs
I've just watched the finale; rhank god they didn't mess it up! One of the best seasons period and for sure the best since we started double digits.
Loved this season. Team Nymphia all day every day. Ps, I loved the promo look. It was badass. Dawn's outfit was my fave.
They should use this stage from now on for normal episodes and go back to the grand theatre for the finale. It looked like there were no previous seasons queens in the audience......and there were less audiences in the crowd.
