Yes! I love the theme of the vids currently, but I’d love to see this too! A lot of these videos make me quite interested in products, it’d be good to see what else is possibly worth it, and what doesn’t seem a great idea to spend the money on to try. And tools are always great to see, even a great product can end up mediocre at best with a particularly bad tool 😅
I would love to see more travel makeup bag content as well as new mani videos ❤

A surprisingly lovely find for me was Kim Chi's Pearl Gone Wild highlighter. I had no expectation at all, I'd actually heard some bad reviews for Kim Chi's brand, but I ended up loving it so much it's now one of my immediate go-tos. I'm not really a glitter girlie so I was shocked by how much I loved it - it's a really ethereal shimmer and I use it every day.

it's great to see you back! my january favourites have been the elf hydrating core lip shine in ecstatic and a couple of kaleidos lippies - their lip glaze in last smoke and their lip clay in mercury wave. i'd love to see what you think of kaleidos, actually! i feel like you'd enjoy some of the softer pinks and nudes they have to offer (ironically, those sorts of colours are way out of my comfort zone) and all the lip products i own from them are ABSURDLY comfortable. it'd be fun to see what you think of them!

Hi Matilda, excited for your content this year! I’ve grown to love Olive &June through you. I bought a few things when I visited USA recently but am devastated that they don’t deliver to Singapore. Where do your supplies come from? Do your order online?
They don’t deliver to the UK either 😭😭 so I have to ask my American coworker to buy things for me every time she goes home to visit her family. The good thing is that she also loves Target, the place O&J is sold, so it’s not a problem. I just give her the money and the name of the products. Hope they will soon deliver worldwide or start selling their products in our countries. Cheers👋🏼
Thank you! That's so nice to hear ☺️💅 I just grabbed a few O&J products in Target when I was in California, it was so exciting to see them in stores for the first time! I teach monthly masterclasses on Zoom for the brand so they very kindly mail products to me sometimes so I can stay up to date, but I've also sent orders to friends in the past who were travelling to the US or returning home to Australia (lucky you having a lovely coworker who can help Lulu!) x

Hi Meena! Always on the search for new faces to feature 😄🔎 I do enjoy finding stars who are multifaceted (they might act but also write, or work in comedy, theatre, music etc!) but unfortunately actresses and models are far more likely to have product details available through interviews, makeup artists and photo shoots. I'd love to feature prominent women from other industries but the beauty information for them might not exist at all, or as readily (and getting a response if I reach out personally is very hit and miss). Hope you understand! x

I am continuing my search for the perfect warm rose, non-shimmery, creamy cream blush (to replace the discontinued Bobbi Bown pot rouge in Rose). The closest I have found so far is the Makeup by Mario stick blush in Earthy Pink. Runner up is one from Kjaer Weiss, the colour is good, but the consistency is a lot drier than I would like to be.

I would be curious to see which shades are good for warm undertones, which are suitable for cool undertones and which are neutral. I recently had a color analysis on me and find it very difficult to distinguish between the shades. It’s rare that colors have descriptions in which the colors might go. Some brands have it in their names. Would be nice if you do a for example „make up for warm undertones“ oder „for cool undertones“ guide with products and tips/guidelines. I love your color themed videos and descriptions because it gives me a detailled image in my head to make an informed decision if the product is right for me.

Thank you Diana! I'd have to do some detailed research on this (which I'd be so interested in!) because I actually don't follow colour theory in my own makeup choices. In fact, I think I break all the rules because I have cool, pink undertones but I love wearing warm blush / eyeshadow shades! 😂🎨 Will certainly think about exploring this topic x

I’d look forward to consistent uploads this year. That could look like 2 times a month. It feels like either you’re stretched too thin or you make enough money and don’t care enough about keeping our viewership.
I always aim for weekly uploads and that's my plan for the year ahead too Rachel! But 2023 was the hardest year I've ever had, and I had to spend a lot of unexpected time offline. It hurts to hear that you think I don't care enough about this community, when that couldn't be further from the truth ❤️ x

And also, do you have any advice when is the best time and day to post a video during the week if you want to cover international audience and you are not focused on some specific region, just on everyone who speak English?
Thank you! Unfortunately I've never made 'worst' videos before as it's so subjective (and I never want to be unnecessarily harsh!). Just because I'm not interested in a product, or a formula didn't work well for me, doesn't mean it isn't someone else's favourite and a good fit for their skin or style ☺️👍 x

That's very nice of you to say 🥰 As a full-time beauty creator, my collection has definitely gone beyond what it used to be when I was a regular beauty lover, but I certainly have repeat favourites and still get so much love out of products I've been using for years! All about trying to find balance between trying and sharing new things with you, and going back to old favourites x

I get so excited whenever i see you've posted a video, longtime fan and I always go through phases where I love to rewatch your old videos and binge yearly roundups cause I personally have been leaning away from makeup and mainstream ( at least in the US) brands. I love hearing about your new finds that maybe arent as popular but also would love to see maybe a touch more affordable stuff at least in the skincare section lol all those lovely allies of skin and vitners face oil are sooo tempting but not totally realistic but I do love hearing about this sort of stuff! the sort of topics Ive been leaning towards are skin, hair, body, and nails in the beauty space! emphasis on the nails I love doing my own nails and your mani videos, my personal favourite brand is nailberry i feel like you'd enjoy their polishes! I'm not on any mobile social media so i don't know if you post separate photos of outfits and jewelry but i feel like that could also be fun like exploring full looks? anyways big fan looking forward to the new year!

Lots of drugstore makeup discoveries to share soon too. Unfortunately I only post about beauty, no other outfit elements so you're not missing anything, don't worry! I've always heard great things about Nailberry, I'll keep an eye out in the UK later in the year x

Me too Elle! I just met with MERIT in LA recently and they actually mentioned that they don't hear a lot of noise from Australian customers wanting them to ship here... so make sure they know you're interested through comments on their posts etc! 😍 x
