Are you able to try out the paper test similar to what he did in the video ? I currently have the baesus one and not really happy with the glare on my monitor
4:45 can you elaborate on this test? If its supposed to show the cone of light, the sn-okylife is clearly better. In terms of hard line, there is virtually no differences especially since you're farther away at the benq making the line stand out
Off topic, but now I'm wondering what type of light you have BEHIND your monitor. I've just been using a simple lamp with a smart bulb so I can control the colour, but I'd prefer to not have to see that under/behind my monitor all the time. Any suggestions?
Love my Baseus but I find that it squeezes the heck out of my monitor. A simple mod using an old plastic card did the trick however. Highly recommend it. I do disagree with the issues you brought up regarding the buttons however. They're pretty straightforward.
Thanks for the suggestion on the card trick. Curious how old your is? The button just zooms back and forth from dim to bright. It's not easy to dial in and its definitely not easy to make small adjustments during use. It would be better if you could just tap it like other models vs hold it down -GK
I already have the Philips Hue Play bars on the back, so i'm thinking that might be over kill for my setup. Would have been a good idea before buying those -GK
a few weeks ago i bought the xiaomi mi for 40€ and it was a complete life changer. now i can comfortably learn for exams at night also it is my only light source and does the job perfectly fine for me.
Thanks for the helpful video! It would be great to include the new Xiaomi S1 and also the OOWOLF in future reviews, to see how they compare against the others you have tested.
I think the mount systems are always kinda gimmicky especially if you move your monitor around or have thin bezels I just double sided tape mine. Zero complaints, extra stable, and easy enough to remove if i want to
Steelcase chairs 5y warranty for Europe is absolute joke. Any suggestions for A/S tier chairs with 12y warranty for Europe? Harman Miller? Which one (with headrest)?
Been using my BenQ Screenbar Plus for 2 years and the only drawback I have found with it is that it doesn't go dim enough. Having the standalone puck for control also feels quite nice so I don't have to fiddle with touch controls. The new Halo version looks nice to have an additional lamp on the back of the unit.
I actually bought a curved one for my double stack of 34" ultrawides last week after seeing you mention light bars in another video. Really satisfied with it.

personally very happy with my Xiaomi lightbar, great feature set/quality for the price and a lot cheaper than the benq bar

Seems to be the popular pick here based on comments. -GK

what are your opinions on the Quntis monitor light bar?
I’m using BenQ light bar for the past 2 years and it’s the best investment for my old eyes 🤭
Nice! -GK
recommend trying out the benq light bar halo, maybe more expensive but well worth the price.
I already have the Philips Hue Play bars on the back, so i'm thinking that might be over kill for my setup. Would have been a good idea before buying those -GK
Did you ever get around purchasing the curved monitor light bar?

+1 on this one, this thing is great for the money!
On my list to buy soon -GK
@@btodtv tbh id say its better then the benq one :)

Not a bad idea, if you don't plan to move it too often. Which brand/model do you have? -GK
I have 2 vertical monitors on each side of my center screen which come down to touch desk, will the light bar light flash 2 vertical screens?
Razer Iskur chair please

This seems random for the video subject matter ;) -GK
@@btodtv Yeah, my bad, I had few other videos from your channel opened and commented on the wrong one. Thanks for the answer tho!

You must like it pretty dang dim! Thanks for the feedback. Cool to hear it is still going strong 2 years later -GK
Can also vouch for the BenQ. It's really fantastic.
You can buy a whole monitor instead of banQ light bar
Not a very good one, but yes you could -GK
@@btodtv your channel is too underrated brother
That BenQ light bar is even more expensive than my monitor. 😂
fair video
Snooky life can’t seem to turn off the one I got
I heard that the Xiaomi lightbar is one of the best lightbars on the market, especially for the price. So it's definitely worth trying out.
On my short list to try. Currently using the Quntis at my home setup -GK
@@btodtv wud u recommend the Quntis over the Baseus?
Probably. A little easier to adjust -GK
