I personally own the Baseus & BenQ screen bar over a year now with heavy usage. I purchased the BenQ because of the great reviews and figured it will be a good fit for my BenQ monitors staying in the eco system but the baseus has been much better on my eyes. The BenQ after adjusting are simply too bright the only thing is that it feels more secure on the monitor and I love using the control. Trust me you not missing anything with the BenQ.
I’m definitely cool with just having the Baseus one for 30 something since it does everything I needed it to do. Don’t get me wrong, I still rock with BenQ for their products but the price point compared to the competition ain’t it
Nice editing, simple and to the point, just suggesting, not pushing people to buy one or another. And nice calming voice and no screaming “ ITS AMAZING YOU GOTTA GET ONE” +1 sub
Subscribed. Lucky for me the UA-cam algorithms did bring me here when I was looking for a light bar and comparisons between the BenQ. Good job on this one I really appreciate the information and it's giving me a lot to look at and consider.
Neither, the Yeelight Pro Lightbar is excellent. It has a remote that works perfectly, a separate backlight. I wanted to buy the BenQ, but a friend recommended the Yeelight. My monitor has a light „hump“ on the back, but it still fits fine. It‘s great for working and gaming. My eyes are less strained! Oh, the backlight is either RGB (customizable) or normal lighting, another nice feature. Hope this helps.
Great comparison video, Watts! Thanks for featuring my setup. I have the BenQ screen bar plus which is a bit more expensive than the standard screen bar. I like that the plus version has the dial to easily adjust the brightness and color temperature without having to reach up to the top of my screen. I have short arms so reaching up to the top of my screen every time I want to adjust would be super inconvenient for me. 🙈
I don't own an Xiaomi so I can't offer much. I'd pay attention to the mechanism of how it sits on the monitor and see if there is a pattern problem in the lower star reviews.
Hey man, just magically found your video and I just want to say I love the production quality of your videos. Super aesthethic and just a 5 ⭐experience.
Hey man, this video was excellent and pointed out some pros and cons of light bars for me. I am looking into getting one and this was very helpful! Thanks a bunch
They reduce glare and light up the workspace in front of the monitor without having a different light on the desk that shines into your eyes. I haven't done any testing and I'm not qualified to say that it will 100% help with eye protection but when I'm writing notes on my desk at night, this is a nice light to have to help me avoid straining my eyes to see when I'm writing. It's not important to have one but more so a nice to have.
Just watched other video that told to buy anything but Baseus. Guess it works for you. Looking at Xiaomi variant myself, but still looking into comparisons. Nice video!
Went here after receiving a reply regarding your Asus ProArt post. I guess it's safer not to put a light bar on my set up, unless I can find one where I can just put it "on" my monitor and not actually clamping it. Thank you so much for your insights!
