Congrats Prof! Great pickups as usual. I had those Nodame Cantabile volumes but got rid of them last year when I was purging a bunch of never finished series out of my collection.
I just finished reading the first volume of smoking behind the super market with you and it was great. Nice subtle slice of life with a hint of romance, I really enjoyed it!
That's wonderful you work so hard as a band teacher and were able to get a great deal on a manga that is all about music I did enjoy the five thick volume of the Japanese Jazz saxophone player you put that on my radar I wish it was longer never tired or ran out of steam on that one ! So- you are a band instructor in the beginning phase of thier career journey I am more of a retired Hikikimori if you or anyone else knows of ANY Hikikimori manga series it's so widespread in Japan such economic and societal prejudices around mental illness im shocked there wouldn't be any Hikikimori titles ? Maybe just not translated into English yet ? Blood on the Tracks comes VERY CLOSE and damn I'm NOT ready for that run to end it's one of my favorites of all time !
I had that hardcover Murakari short stour hardcover in my hand today but put it back the art and coloring are to die for just like The Boxer series that's killer no pun intended .
Great vid. I have never heard about Murakami manga! He is my favorite author!!!! Thanks for showing me. Also, definitely read his novels, you will love them. Great start is by Norwegian wood and Colorless Tsukuru Tazaki and his years of pilgrimage.

Congrats on the straight superiors, what a great accomplishment so early in your career! Bubbles is great, I subscribe to the zine and they (he; it's just one guy) puts some cool manga-related stuff in some of those issues. I recommend everything they put out!
Can you confirm if "I want a Gal Gamer to praise me" has colored pages? Like some pages with the girl's hair colored in pink. Apparently the scans online are lke that and I was curious if in physical would be the same
