I've been in 2012, and another older trip was back in 1989. To see this docu from a rather way older scenery, ignites nostalgia in so many ways! Of course some things (like the Kok Si Temple, and retail lots, garden) easily recognizable. The Hill was equipped by newer system of tram at least when I went in 2012.
Incredible clear footage for 1976 or any time for that matter !! We were there with the RAAF at this time so this is such fantastic footage to recall that time ♥️
It so happened that I went to Jarkata from Hong Kong for the inter-versity game festival on 1976. On the return leg, we visited Singapore and Penang. The feeling of the places in the clip look so familiar. Maybe we have crossed our path at the time.
