I find they dig best when over 300 rpm. Gotta have them revs up when pushing into the pile. I just got a t25 as well. Awesome machines. Its my first tractor.

Yes, if the RPMs was set past idle, the foot pedals (auto throttle) would not change the RPMs UNLESS the RPMs was set too low. Then, I do believe the further you push the foot pedal down, it would increase power/rpm. I hope this helps.
