Great job, very thorough my only problem was there were slopes you could have traversed and did not. It would be cool to see how it handles steep grades.
great review, nice camera work!
Great review, Brent!
thanks Bookbuzz! glad you dug it :)
great review subscribed..
Awesome review and cool ebike.
thanks Olga and happy 2020!
Looks like an awesome terrain!
hey Wout b! great to see ya again bud. how was your holidays?
Looks like a really cool bike!
it’s pretty fun 😎✌🏼
Keep doing what you doing bro I appreciate it👍👍💯💪
thanks Racer X really appreciate it bud and happy to see you again! how’s 2020 treatin ya so far?
@@electrifiedreviews it's all good bro but you didn't mention the top speed of the bike
Racer X this is 20 mph with pedal assist and 28 mph with throttle out of the box according the website but we hit 30 mph on flat ground with throttle only and it felt like it was still accelerating before I had to brake for the turns
@@electrifiedreviews Nice thankx bro👍👍😁
@@racerx7413 fo sho :)
With all the mud on this ebike, I wonder how you clean all the mud off. Is this ebike totally waterproof thus allowing the use of a hose or does the mud have to be hand washed off the tires and the frame? By the way, a great and informative review.
Your voice is like so cool like the guys in Seattle
dope dude!
agreed! :P)
Hi! Thanjs for your review! After 2 years, it is stil reliable?
Very much satisfied with the product .
The controller can adjust the maximum speed so that you can do 40mph+. Just set it to 99mph/kph max and you're good to go. I watched a video about this from an electric bike company that rhymes with Folton Electric Bikes.
interesting. going to have to try this.
Could you share that video?
That bike looks fun
it is!
🔥🔥🔥🔥
😎✌🏼
Awesome bike for off road ehehhe :)
ganante! happy 2020! hope you had a great holiday and ya this is a great bike for the trails :)
How about hill climbing,? you drove by them, no one seems to do this. I like the bike review , but need to know how it will handle steeper grades.
Hey mate, interested in purchasing one. Can you give me an update on the bike? How is the battery a couple years later?
Does it serve you well still?
Thanks legend
great review can you buy them in Europe?
My bike came with the 860c display but I charged it for this C500 display like this one because like you said it a cleaner look on the handlebars because I hate to much furniture and cluter on my handlebars 👍🏾
nice! did you swap it out yourself?
Thanks for the video. I just got this bike. It's pretty cool, but Eunorau's customer services is really, really bad.
Why no adjustable stem at 2.4k?!? Cheaper bikes have this
You don't need to let off the "gas" when you shift, the shift sensor does that for you.
the shift detection isn’t perfect and you’re still going to be grinding the gears more often than not if you don’t let off the gas before shifting, especially in the top pedal assist level. even the super high end shift detection slips up sometimes.
does the battery has samsung cells ? can you tell ?
my husband's new ride
Wait a minute! Isn´t that a Bafang BBSHD? How did they implemented torque sensor on these? From what I know, it does not come with torque sensor, only cadence
Yeah, I'm still confused if it has a torque sensor or not. I didn't think this model did, and it kind of sounds like it does. Or it doesn't???
hey Andrei! so sorry for the delay on getting back to you. there seems to be some confusion floating around regarding whether this motor uses a torque sensor or cadence sensor. to the best of my knowledge this is a torque sensor. check out the Bafang page here: www.bafang-e.com/en/oem-area/components/component/motor/mm-g5107501000c/
also, a great way to tell whether you are working with a torque sensor or a cadence sensor is to:
1. turn the bike on.
2. deploy the kickstand
3. tilt the bike against the kickstand so the rear wheel is off the ground
4. gently turn the cranks with your hand
if you get to step 4 and the motor activates, it's almost certainly a cadence sensor. it's possible in this instance for it to be a smart sensor, which measure torque and cadence, but probably not. another way to tell if it is a cadence sensor is to visually inspect the spindle at the bottom of the cranks. if you see a disc with a series of magnets, it's a cadence sensor. if you see a small, somewhat triangular device with a wire leading into the spindle, it's an enclosed cadence sensor... generally these are a bit more advanced and sensitive compared to the exposed ones.
if you get to step 4 and the motor does not activate, stop the rear tire from spinning and then push hard on the cranks. if you get motor activation now, it's a torque sensor!
@@scottb6319 hey Scott! check out my reply to Andrei. hopefully that helps. :P)
I agree theses fat bike's need proper night light's. I've been looking for an upgrade for my rad rhino of about 2000 to 3000 lumin's but I can only find one's with there own battery not the integrated tipe all ready on my bike.
hey Andrew! glad to see ya again buddy. ya i think almost all of the aftermarket lights are going to be with an independent battery, but i know there are some that can be plugged into the existing electrical system... just can’t think of any off the top of my head. really interested to see what you end up choosing so please let us know once you get one!
Hi Brent thank you for that information I thought there was something wrong with the battery my 48v battery shows 83% after a full charge but my 52v battery works fine and show 100% after a full charge.
Charge it with the battery turned on
How does it climb with that massive 48t chainring and fairly small cogs?
like a billy goat
The cassette cogs are of a ratio that lends itself to high torque capability.
I was just watching the the Bolton bike, 1000 watt mid drive. Looks exactly the same. I think it is. So check that video for more. Same price too.
It is the same bike. I saw the same thing and called "Best E-Bike Store" and talked to them for a while. They actually had some to pre order and are shipping early June. They also had a coupon code on their website. I ordered one last night.
nice!
Looks like it’s a Bolton foxbat or vice versa
Is it’s only an off-road bike or can it be a city bike as well?
heya! it would be a good city bike too, especially for riders who need to carry a lot of weight and need a rear rack
Fed law governing low speed ebikes require that a bike has a motor no bigger than 750w and top speed of 20mph to be street legal. Most states are also following this guideline. The good news is eunorau has a AWD (same style- same look) bike that conforms to fed law.
@@electrifiedreviews why would you recommend a bike that is not street legal?
@@tombryan1 not a big deal just set the max speed to 20mph and nobody would bat an eye. I ordered one yesterday and its illegal here because of the Thumb throttle. just use its full power offroad or a empty safe spot 🤷
BBSHD with a torque sensor?
oh ya. i'm not even sure they make one with a cadence sensor.
This bike has a cadence sensor according to Eunorau.
Thoughts on the ability to pull a dog trailer with a large lab total weight about 125LBS.
I'd like to know myself
I believe this bike is rated for 370 pounds but power wize I believe it could do it
All those hills around and you rip around on a table top ?
yes.
160 nm of torque and you didn't climb one hill in video???? I wanna see it billy goat
haha ya it probably could. we hit some mild hills but you're right, nothing too extreme. where would you take it?
@@electrifiedreviews I refuse to play into your gambit and pollute this fine board with "your mom's house" jokes. Lets keep it classy gents.
Nice job on the vid tho, great info and presentation man. Think the guy in the commuter focused vid for Fat-HD on Euno's site had an old model w/ cable breaks and cadence, prolly where the mis info's coming from. Might be hurting sales I'd let em know.
fucking awesome review . +1 now a owner . reply will come after 1 month of ownership
My name is Brent too!
what a great name :0)
You literally rode a brand new bike through one puddle.
When are you doing another giveaway I’m still trying to get into riding e-bikes
hey Migel! should be having some more giveaways coming up soon. what kind of ebike are you interested in?
Brent McCluskey - Electrified Reviews I would like a electric mountain bike but I’m only 14 and unemployed so I can’t get money to get one
Brent McCluskey - Electrified Reviews I am interested in a mountain ebike
Migel Mejia i feel that. electric mountain bikes are cool. we’ll announce the next giveaway soon and good luck in advance!
Migel Mejia good choice. those are fun :)
Brent, for that price that sh@t should do 35 no prob, considerin what you can by a GOOD scooter for!
hey ZORAK! you could probably do 35 on this pretty easy if you’re willing to pedal. i hit 30 on flat ground with throttle only no problem. took a minute to get there but it felt like it could have kept going if i has more runway
@@electrifiedreviews What UP! well from the video you seem to be going around 22ish top speed on that
boat, did you use a speedometer on that
trail, that boat seems mad expensive, as
compared to what you actually get. I think
the company Add Motor makes some
equivilents for better price tag!
ZORAK 75 oh ya man i was def not hitting full speed on those trails. 22 feels about right... good guess :)
ZORAK 75 and ya AddMotoR has some great stuff too. huge selection with pretty much something for everyone
Brotha, my Eb8 does all that for a third of the price, and has swapable batteries!
whats good ZORAK! i haven’t seen the Eb8 yet (isn’t that the little robot from Star Wars) but ima check it out right now. 👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼
@@electrifiedreviews Maybe, I don't keep in tune with current Star Wars lore, but The EB8 is a dirt bike from
SWAGTRON! It is also good for modding.
ZORAK 75 ah that’s right! ya they contacted us about that one. looks pretty dope actually. we should be reviewing that at some point this year.
@@electrifiedreviews Yea! I had to change out some components
on mine, but I beat the heck out of it almost
on a daily soooo... least the frame is like a
TANK though, and the after market third
party batteries found on EBAY are reasonably priced for max effective range
potentiality.
@@electrifiedreviews Thanks for checking it Brotha!
Buddy can you review husqvarna ebike. They are the most beautiful ebike in terms of design compared to the rest of the electric bicycles
heya! the husqies look amazing. we're working on getting those reviewed and hopefully we can get them up soon!
They do not ship to Canada. Don't waste your money if you're in Canada.
Light black, ok, sure
I heard a lot of talk about mud, No video of real mud.
20:04 thank me later
me like
yooo! me too haha. good to see you back and happy 2020! how was your New Year?
@@electrifiedreviews happy 2020 to you to and i just sat at home playing games during new year
film wreck now that’s what I’m talking about. sometimes it’s nice to just chill. i played a lot of world of tanks blitz over the holidays lol
@@electrifiedreviews i have been playing jedi fallen order which i finished 2 days ago finally and playing overwatch non stop
film wreck haha right on. i was on Apex for a while but it got super stale
That is very cheap. Lol.
The worst eshop, they are thieves, they don't provide warranty, don't answer emails, acknowledge problems but never send parts.
I like my bikes like I like my women....with a great rack😁
wowowowow! good to see you James. how’s 2020 been so far? are we in the future yet?
@@electrifiedreviews not quite but keep reviewing those e bikes and scooters and one day you'll get a real back to the future hoverboard!
James Read haha will do buddy. have you seen the hendo hoverboard?
@@electrifiedreviews is that the one. That's nitrogen cooled? Made by a car company?
James Read ya it uses super conductive magnets and a copper platform to hover. Pretty dope.
nah
na na na, na na na na na, hey hey hey
No hill climbing…. Must be junk if your not showing ANY hill climbing at all , disappointed 😔
hi Donnie! i hope you find the satisfaction you're searching for. be well! 😎🙏
@@electrifiedreviews Hello , it was not my intention to be negative about the video, you did a outstanding job of showing how waterproof it is but the the real test is the up hill test and it would have been nice to see the torque it has for going up hill , I ride a Specialized hard rock with a 1200w ebikeling waterproof kit with a
48v 20 ah battery with a
50a bph chip . 32mph on the flat and 18 to 21 mph on Eugene Oregon hills. But I’m always looking for the right mid-drive motor for my area and you gave me a new option. Thank you 🙏, please keep doing what you do
Just bought a bike from them, beware the tech support and customer service have been horrible for me. They don't even answer emails well. I won't buy anything else from them, and I had planned to
