We still grapple with the far reaching successes and failures that were created. No one wins in wars. History proves that fact repeatedly. We were not resellers, we were storytellers. We recounted history and culture, we were teachers at heart, we bridged objects to a place in time. We sold time capsules. I like the stories objects provoke. You always have some thought provoking items. Thanks.
Gosh I am so happy to hear someone else say that like and buy damaged items, a little chipped or broken, they tell a story. I am always bringing home treasures for myself that are not perfect, someone has to love them and give them a home. You always find the coolest stuff.

The Graceline purse was a bargain and wonderful find - I found one the same but different fabric, selling online for $380 😱. Great buy on the lamps too.

You always find such wonderful little pretties! My favorite is the morter & pestle and secondly is the little striped purse towards the end. That is so cute. Is that purse made of silk? Like you, if I find a treasure.for myself, chips and cracks are OK. It just means they were previously enjoyed and have a history. I love your show & tell stories complete with prices! Great finds! I like collecting small objects like you found and I put them in what I call my treasure box. It’s a large wooden chest with a top lid a three drawers. I think it was a notions box from a store. All my trinkets are in there. I love opening the box to look at the little objects I’ve collected. I plan to pass it on to my nephew. Love watching your videos!

It has a rayed bottom and looks like a chrysanthemum . No nicks or chips for $3.99 ! I stopped in a junk store and found a 48inch Irish linen tablecloth in ecru or off white for 2$ . I'm happy I can tell you are .
Great items as usual. I have a motor and pestle like that it belonged to my grandma she was born in the 1880s so it must be pretty old. Unfortunately it's split in half not sure how it happened I must glue it together. Look forward to seeing what you do with that cabinet it's lovely. Loved the bluebirds and duck I've got a little collection of birds going on myself. That little bee clasp! Those crystals always remind me of my sister she got married in the late 60s her wedding dress had crystals on it and I suggested she wear a necklace like that to match. They got them in Italy. I would have been 9 or 10 and was a bridesmaid. I saw a quote that talks about the Japanese technique where broken pottery is repaired with gold. Take care
The crystal necklaces are so beautiful I have several from my mother and found 2 for myself. When I see them at thrift stores I buy them. They are neutral and go with everything. You were lucky to get that one for 50 cents.🌺🌸

I have a lovely floor lamp that is an Ott light. I keep it by my sewing machine and I LOVE it? the best part is I only paid $10 at Hobby Lobby years ago on a 90% off clearance sale. Probably the best deal I’ve ever gotten at HL.
I believe the spool holder is a Victorian spool reel (called a bobbin reel too). Typically they had long rods designed to traverse top through to the bottom. Do any of the layers on yours turn so you can align the holes?
