@@oldcuriosityshop265 Scott do you have sure-fire snickerdoodle recipe? I started looking for one online and find that good ones can be tricky to make.
Really enjoyed your musical medley in the background. Hot water for tea, 1934. Will look up Liberty 1 and 2. Do they have anything to do with, Give me Liberty or? Satin glass, peach, lemony yellow...they are beautiful. Less expensive material used in latter mixers enabled those of us who could make do with product lacking in quality. The standing mixer gave us all a respite from standing in one place and preventing us from multitasking. You have been very fortunate in finding such a good variety of items. The white refrigerator dishes are pretty enough to use as dresser top trinket boxes. Be safe.
1914, spicket looks Industrial and utilitarian. Not decorated enough 2B used in a single household. I didn't know a mixer could be so handsome and sleek. I'm 74 from Birmingham Alabama and enjoy you so much!
Just put 2 of the English tins in my booth today. Both had pastel colors and birds. I 💛 how decorative and very functional they are. Anyone can keep anything in it and enjoy thier charm.
Hi Scott...Loved the refrigerator storage containers. Today these are made using plastic (plastics are destroying our oceans, people!) and have self-sealing lids, I prefer the glass any day of the week. I loved the green demitasse cup and saucer the design just sets it apart from the ordinary. I'll guess that the year is 1934 and the item is a coffee maker urn?? Scott, I really enjoy your collection of reference books, you should do a video on all that you have. I'd watch it even if it's hours long. Take care, and thanks for your incredible knowledge of everything you've shown. Jersey Ann from ____ fill in the blank.
You are so right. Plastics are destroying this planet!! I recycle everything I can, but I don't understand why society still allows all this plastic to be made! 😢
Ooo…forgot my guess…Too much rum and Coca Cola…I say it’s a coffee urn 1914 as it has a kind of unrefined look to it…Probably because electricity in most homes then was a newer concept and designs were rushed out to the public. By the 20s 30s designs on electric appliances were more refined.
I have a little green deco lamp. It looks great on a bookcase so don’t just think of it as something for the bedroom. Can even be used as a small kitchen lamp in a corner or on an open counter. 👍💕
I say 1934 and it’s for coffee, tea or hot chocolate 🤷🏼♀️ Love the HA blue decanter I found the bottom part of one when I was at Deadhorse Bay near Brooklyn NY Seaglassing the beach is known for finding antique wares dated back to the 1850’s and up also it was known for dead horse carcasses from the near by factory haven’t been there in years not sure if it’s still open but it was very interesting to explore found lots of old glass! Nice haul 🥰
Hi Scott!!! Wow what a great haul! I love your Art Deco coffee cup and saucer with the lightening bolt! Ugh just like you I LOVE that green!!💚💚💚 if you ever find another (let me know!!) 💚💚💚 So let’s see… I think that is a coffee urn and I would have to guess at 1934 because of the shape has a little of a deco appearance to me especially the top handle to the lid! I can just smell the coffee percolating at the Hollywood Canteen in that ❤️ ☕️ Can’t wait to see what you say tomorrow! Hugs! Jeff
I love the green pottery lamp! I have a little lidded jar in clear glass with the children playing in yellow. Well, I think that's a samovar and I'll go with 1914, only because I think it would be more decorative if it was from the 20s or 30s... but I'm sure I'll be surprised by what you tell us! Thanks for another great haul, Scott!
Not sure the "name" of the urn, but want to say 1934 due to the cord and design. I believed they were used to keep water hot for making tea etc. Keep making these videos! I learn so much!
Good evening Scott. Our guess 1914, coffee samovar Possibly made in Connecticut ??? Manning Bowman or landers Frary, universal maybe? Rob & Cheryl in FLA
Great video Scott! I'm not sure what year the mystery item is from, but I'm very confident that it is in fact the illegitimate child of Rosie the robot maid from the Jetsons. 😃 Have a great day!
I'm going to guess your mystery item dates to 1914 simply because it looks more utilitarian than stylish; as far as what it is, I agreed with others it was for coffee until you showed the top- was that supposed to allow steam to escape or did I not see it clearly? Since I can't imagine what would vent steam & also have a spigot I'm going to assume I'm wrong. But oh! Just as I was imagining those refrigerator dishes filled with colorful bits & bobs & resting on a shelf you showed that cup & saucer & I actually gasped- how BEAUTIFUL is that?!? Luckily I hadn't yet taken a bite of my lasagna or you might have lost a viewer.
I don't know anything about antiques. But I concur with the consensice. Did I spell that right? I think it's a 1934 coffee urn. I think. But Frances H could be right. Hellow little Robot!
Hi Scott! You posted this video last week, but I'm sorry to say that I haven't had time to watch it until today, Sunday. Your videos are always interesting, but my favorite part of this video was about your Hazel-Atlas book by Gene and Cathy Florence --- or more accurately, what you used for page bookmarks inside the Hazel-Atlas book: various product and/or recipe booklets and pamphlets. Yes, that's another category of things that I collect! At least they don't take up as much shelf room as full-size hardcover recipe books! You had two cook booklets about meat, one about cooking with an electric skillet/frying pan and one about Knox Gelatin. Do you just happen to run across them serendipitously, or did you collect them on purpose?
Don't forget to vote on the mystery item. Does it date to 1914, 1924 or 1934? Cast your vote below and next time we meet.....I shall tell you!
34 and is it a teapot?
1934 coffee percolator?
It's a 1934 tabletop Coffee maker/ warmer. Built to last forever🤭🤭🤭🤭🤭.
It's for tea, made in the 1920's, and was the prototype for Robot in Lost in Space.
1914 electric coffee percolator. Beautiful.
Never stop doing antiques. You have been given a gift.
Oh how kind of you. Thanks for the encouragement.
Good evening Scott 💓
That mixer is too cool
Mid 1930s ...and that is my answer folks....blessings for the new month
Wowsa that mix all mixer is a work of art 😉
1914 coffee urn. I love the sleek look of the mixer. Reminds me of the old Cadillac's with their fins.
I do love a snickerdoodle. The mixer rocks!
Snickerdoodles are my second favorite cookie!
@@oldcuriosityshop265 Scott do you have sure-fire snickerdoodle recipe? I started looking for one online and find that good ones can be tricky to make.
Ugh, Scott, you make me covet things that I previously didn’t know existed-lol. XO
Same!!
That dang stopper!!🤣 I was yelling it to you. 🤦🏻♀️😊
Magnificent treasures. The bowl is beautiful. GREAT VIDEO AND GREAT CONTENT. THUMBS-UP ALWAYS!!!!!

I'm sure happy to see you show off your pride of the area of the country you are from, and such the history.
Enjoying the sound of 🎵 love the green lamp💚 maybe your biscuit / tea tin came from Grace Brother’s 🛍😝
The glass refrigerator containers look lovely just stacked on a shelf! 🤗❣️🌸👍
I bet that mixer would make 7 minute icing in 7 minutes! Today the same recipe takes 20 minutes.
You are right!
That mixer was made …when they made things to last….now everything is made to be disposable
Thank You Scott....♥️.... Have a great day :-)💃

I thought that but the rest of it styled like the 30's .
Jeepers! Oooo…It’s 1940s night at the OCS! Time for me to set aside my rations book, adjust my antimacassar, and pour myself a rum and Coca Cola!
Just put 2 of the English tins in my booth today. Both had pastel colors and birds. I 💛 how decorative and very functional they are. Anyone can keep anything in it and enjoy thier charm.
Scott, you are so smart and interesting. God’s blessings
I say 1934. The cord? Lack of decoration… it’s a tea samovar I think 🧐
Yesterday to my surprise I found 3 serving plates of enchor hocking in a second hand store in Israel
I think that is a 1924 Coffee Urn...thanks for taking us along Scott!! Always enjoy it!!
I'm guessing 1924, hot water heater for tea.

I enjoyed your haul Scott. I’m going to guess 1924 and assume that it’s an urn to dispense hot water, tea or coffee 😊. Have a good day today. ❤️
1924, love it.. love the green silk ware bowl.
I would guess it’s a coffee pot or samovar from the teens, liked the cup and saucer. My favorite was the mixer.
I have a little green deco lamp. It looks great on a bookcase so don’t just think of it as something for the bedroom. Can even be used as a small kitchen lamp in a corner or on an open counter. 👍💕
I have another thought, though. The top tooks like some kind of pressure cooker valve
Omg, Frank Sinatra, Autumn in New York. My Mothers and I favorite song.👍
I think it’s a tabletop hot water boiler, and since my first guess was 1929, I’ll go along with 1924 for when it was made.
Guessing 1914. Some type of beverage urn? So in love with your green deco cup and saucer. Thanks for sharing.
It looks like a hot water urn. I'll guess 1934.
Fun fun fun
Beautiful lamp and really nice find
1924 coffee urn in style of a samovar.
I say a coffee maker! I would love to see some of your jadeite collection.
I read Amy B’s nice message and looked up Samovar - wow Amy you are smart! I’ve never heard of a Samovar! ☕️
I vote 1934 for the coffee urn. Great video!
Nice haul Scott! ❤

I agree with samovar

Aloha Scott! Isn't that a perculator. I grew up with something similar to that. Aloha!
Hi Scott! Here catching up!!
Good evening Scott. Our guess 1914, coffee samovar Possibly made in Connecticut ??? Manning Bowman or landers Frary, universal maybe? Rob & Cheryl in FLA
Spot on Rob and Cheryl!!!!!!!!!!!!
Ok now we are simpatico!! I hear The Sound of Music in background.. lol and Frank...
I'll say 1924 coffee urn Scott
I think it’s from 1934. It’s as menacing as the Master Cylinder on Felix the Cat ! 😉
Ha ha ha!!!!!!!!!!!!! I had forgotten about the Master Cylinder!
🤣😅😂
1934 Hot pot for the church suppers!
My guess it’s for hot water to make tea, coffee etc. 1934
It great looking
guessing coffee tureen 1930s?
Great video Scott! I'm not sure what year the mystery item is from, but I'm very confident that it is in fact the illegitimate child of Rosie the robot maid from the Jetsons. 😃 Have a great day!
bring back the clear glass, right?

The aluminium hot water heater 1930's?
1930 but the cord looks newer
I vote 1930s, coffee pot🤷🏿♀️.
Electric tea kettle or water heater, 1914.
1914 Coffee maker
Ok youre gonna laugh, to me it looks like an old juicer for 1934. What about that sleek mixer. It looked like a fancy car or airplane!!!!
1914 percolator coffee pot
( industrial) size hot water carafe??? Old Protestant nursery school kitchen had something similar 1920s ???
That coffee machine looks like it can double as a colon cleanser 😳
❤️❤️❤️❤️
1934
1924 hot water Urn ?
My guess is that it's a coffee warmer (1924).
I don't know anything about antiques. But I concur with the consensice. Did I spell that right? I think it's a 1934 coffee urn. I think. But Frances H could be right. Hellow little Robot!

Oh I always save old paper recipe pamphlets and sometimes try one out in my kitchen. I like the graphics and always enjoy trying old dishes.
Hot chocolate urn. That's my guess.
Is it a urn to boil water? 1924 because of the Bakelite handles 🤔🙏🏼 Scott 💖💫✌🏻
I have the large blossomed apple without a lid. Do you have an extra lid for sale?
No sorry I don't but I'll keep my eyes open.
1914 coffee pot?
I t looks like a Samovar, but I've never seen an electric one. I can't tell the year either, so I'll guess 1924?
1924 coffee urn
Samovar 1930s
