It is always a thrill to find exactly what you collect at a sale. The skulls are really unusual and the candy canes are so saucy. Your dream coming true makes a great story.
I'm amazed at the things you find & attract. OMG the S&P shakers are so darn cute and quirky. I simply cannot resist mid 20th century kitch and they certainly fit right in. Love your storytime and especially the one about your dream ✨️ .... oh my 😱 the creepy doll head you must get it!!!😵💫😆🥰
Interesting stories! Funny how these dreams work sometimes. Twice I've had dreams where I 'm at an auction or antique store and I see a few common things, but everything else is like "What in the world is that? Why have I never seen one before?" I mean hundreds of weird items! Example: combination Fenton milk glass suitcase ( life size) turned into footstool/ chair desk. But inside are rusty tools with rhinestones glued on them in places! I mean really off the wall weird items, one after another! Must of been something spicy I ate, huh? LOL😍

I have seen those type dolls used as light up Halloween decorations by removing the eyes and placing a light inside,try and see if you switch the skull's around,they might both wobble.

Hi Corinna, I am so far behind on watching you…my mom was a collector of S&P sets which made it easy for everyone to get her a souvenir when on vacation. She would number the bottom of the set in magic marker and had a notebook that she would put the corresponding number in with the date, description, and who and where it came from. My father put in built in shelving for her in the kitchen on three walls and they were full. After my dad passed away my mom moved to a smaller house and she wasn’t able to display all of her collection so many were put in boxes. When she passed away in 2002 we had an estate sale…there were over 800 sets, some of the family took some (my daughter has a set of skull bobble heads not quite as fancy as yours) I have her first set, a pair of alligators. We could hardly give them away which was so sad and finally someone bought the bulk of them for very little money, most likely to resell. Whenever I see any S&P sets for sale I always check the bottom to see if there is a number on it but I have never found any. Sorry for the long story but you brought back some memories for me.
