Does it handle transfer case fluid service? I hear a tool is needed to open it all up for draining.

I think it does, Just plug it in then do an auto scan, then it will tell you what is available options for car,

I have BRAKE, AIRBAG, and SEATBELT lights ON while driving. Can this scanner erase those or tell me where the problem exists?

Can this tool do a parameter reset after changing the PCM???
Well, it started out fine. Had trouble connecting to wi-fi, but then did and updated programs ok. I got the Toyota version. Ran a couple checks and it seemed to be good. Then I tried registering a new extra key fob. Go to Diagnostics, then key reg link right at the top, great. Manually entered the VIN and it populated a screen with some car codes, OK. Then a blank input field popped up and wanted a passcode, and would not advance without an answer. Huh? Passcode from where? So, I was going to try the numbers on the shipping label an hour later. Plugged it into the socket again, it lit up and went kaputt. Plugged it in again, lit up for 2 seconds and went dark. Third time, no button responded, went black. Nice.
Oh, Amazon... So it's going back, but if I risk another one, anybody know where to get a passcode for new blank key formatting?

Can someone please confirm if it costs extra to update software annually? If you do not update, can you still use it with the current software or will it be disabled?
It's 10 years before the update, still a long way to go before I found out if it has extra cost to update, I think if you don't update it is still going to work, but you are missing out on the latest software (just my opinion).
But for 10 years before an update, still this scanner is a great buy.

You didn’t even show us how to register it with the serial number smh u skipped a whole part of the set up process in this video
No need to register, once it connects online it's ready to use, it detect my serial number automatically.

Got nothing more than a 10 dollar ebay obd2 scanner out of it. The coding/personalisation do not work. Unable to update service history neither. No luck

It’s like it is having difficulty writing to the car. Just able to read.
The scanner should have good connection with your wi-fi to make it function properly while doing the scan or coding in your car.

OBD II on the BMW e46 Always fails.... and it just showed fail for him at 7 minutes and 57 seconds in. He glosses over it. It says "waiting"... then "fail"... I just want a scan tool that can give me the OBD II Codes... still have not figured that out with the "Elite" reader
Bro there seems to be something there. I saw another video of a bmw person posting this same scanner with some shadiness. Lots of contradictions around this tool I wonder if these are paid advertisements

Can this scanner put the brakes into service mode which retracts the calipers? Similar to ua-cam.com/video/QWtXqIF6eBQ/v-deo.html.
Sorry about the delay, The scanner doesn't show that option on my car since my car is manual hand brake, Probably that service mode is available when the scanner is plugged in the actual car with electronic hand brake.

If I have an issue with the communication system, rear, front,side camara, etc. Would it also give me a diagnostic report for electronics?
I did scan mine and it did not show any error on my electronics, But this scanner does electronics also, Basically scans the whole car.

Can this do a basic ODB check for all cars not just BMW without buying extra software?
I think if it's on OBD mode it doesn't require extra software, it just works like the regular OBD scanner.

Probably, I never had a chance on doing any calibration or adjustment with this scanner, There is too many functions on this scanner to dig into.

Probably it can, The only way to find out is to plug it in your OBD port and run the automatic search, If not just try to e-mail support on Creader Elite website. Hope this helps you.

Just picked one of these up to diagnose the alarm system... im scared of what else its going to find 😂 also i didnt see an expiration date on my unit?? Weird they would run a timer on it but being an android device im sure you can crack in to the code and change it to infinate if updating the unit didnt remove that already.
I hope you solved the problem with your alarm system by using this scanner, It's weird why you can't see the expiration of your scanner, Maybe you got lucky and got the no expiration unit. That would be great.

I think it does, I think anything that pops up on diagnostic can be reset. I haven't try that yet. I will update you if I have any ews to reset in the near future.

I never had a chance on doing this yet, because my battery is still good. Once I replaced my battery, I would register it using this scanner for sure &

Probably yes, but I never tried doing an injector scan yet, You can check with the Creader launch Elite company support maybe they can answer for you, sorry about that.

I just bought this and it seems to nothing but show a bunch of nothing.. no directions on line anywhere at all to show how to use it. I have done scans and can not get any information on how to read codes with the weird numbers. nothing on what to do or how to fix anything. tells me my BMW has a EWS 3 and no, mine is a 4.3. Why is their nothing on line to show how to use this scanner???? . only people bragging that they bought it and it is supposed to do everything. I try to code the key and it says can't do it, Says to use another key which I do not have. Main key was lost by my son and the other key insides went bad. So I had to buy a new key. I had it cut but new key after coding will only open doors, lock doors and windows and trunk. and such. still can not get my BMW e46 328i 2000 to crank or run. did a test by taking out the EWS and using a 30 amp fuse. car then cranks. new ignition switch and still no crank or start. Why can not this tester tell me anything. some one stole my foxwell nt 510. I wish I had just bought another one instead of this piece of Dog DODO. should i say dog no DO I wish I had never bought it.
